They should have merged with Utd, years ago.

Sadly I can see a lot more clubs heading down this road :(

It's alright saying that but if I was a supporter of a team I'd be furious at someone from outside the fold trying to merge me with a rival. It just wouldn't feel the same for me. My team would be dead to me :disappointment:

Talk of a 30 points deduction

Feel for the supporters and employees at times like this. Got a few mates who support Dundee and I know the head groundsman pretty well.

Just think it would be better for them to have a option of a team, than none at all.

Unless they do end up flocking across the city, and no doubt they would be a few if they did go bust.

Why 30?

Don't know why, I saw it on the back of the paper today, but never read the article.

Did Gretna not recieve a 10 point deduction once they entered administration?

Although the Scottish Football League has no automatic deduction of points for clubs going into administration, it reserves the right to "deduct championship points before or during a season and/or to impose a player registration embargo on any club

I don't think they should have, or should ever merge - too much history, passion etc - but they should knock down Dens and Tannadice, and build one stadium to house the both of them.
