aye we know that, but that doesn't stop them any other time.

TBH mate................if the papers had got wind of 10% of what we have done since the 80’s we would have a worse rep than Millwall

I know that people rightly say that the Mhedia have an agenda against The Rangers.............i am just so glad they have not picked up on a lot of stuff, especially in the last 10 years since the explosion of mass media, message boards etc.

Believe me mate, we have got away with murder when it comes down to the nitty gritty

Whilst on the topic of Man Utd and CL.. Anyone else think the Turks could take a point during the week, how ideal would that be for us

I'd love to send those bastards crashihg out

na, compared to what i saw at ibrox, they will get beat everygame, the only chance they do have of winning a game is against us in turkey.

I never heard of any trouble the last time they came up, but how were they managing to attack Gers fans when they had a police escort? I just don't get how that could happen.

It’s easy TBH, there is always far more lads to Cops..............it’s having the arsehole to go through the escort that’s the real deal. Man U are a numbers mob, they over run places because they can pull up to 2000. But when they come up against even numbers more often than not they get a second prize

This i can vouch for . Been more than a few "top" skelpings dished out in recent years by our mob .

However, i've been reading this thread on and off for a few hours without being logged on . Is it any wonder the mhedia have ammo to have a pop with ?

Something to think about no? Admin?

What gets me is in Manchester i personally saw Man U ,Man City and Chelsea lads mingling and drinking quite happily with Bears..i also bet they were involved in the bother that night so for the mhedia to suggest it's to do with the UEFA cup final is bollox.

It's because Rangers are known UK wide as a top Mob and when we play an English side it's a rare chance for them to have a go...simples

Think youre contradicting yourself a bit there. You go on about skelpings and then worry about the media having ammo by reading this thread??

lets be honest, its hardly rocket science that some guys like to go to the footie and fight as well. Its not as if we are disclosing names and aaddresses

I think he means talking about the future......NOT the past. This is where people are fucking up. As far as i am concerned the game against Man U will be nice good night of football with everyone getting on.

Was at the game in Manchester and i found no hostilities around old trafford before the match and was seated in the away end and found no problems during the game .I must admit to having been slightly apprehensive about going into the away section so we kept pretty quiet through the first half but after going for non existent hot food at HT(reminded me of another huge British club where the caterers forget to bring enough pies) it was clear the place was full of bears and the second half was more relaxed on and off the pitch ,whilst taking photos of the superbly behaved jubilant bears in the away end at FT someone decided to throw a lighter (not your 50p refillable i hasten to add ) at us(it was retrieved by me and takes pride of place on the mantelpiece ,i looked round instantly but there was no one claiming responsibility , it was really just an act of childish frustration rather than an act of aggression ,my main worry before the game was that the general feeling amongst the Manchurians might be that we as Rangers and Scottish fans disrespected them and there fine city in 2008 at the uefa cup final (those that did have been punished ),although we did let ourselves down they understood there was mitigating circumstances and they have on the whole forgiven us , i very much doubt the people of Manchester are planing to come to Glasgow on a revenge mission ,no chance, the police will ensure there is limited opportunity for the moronic element which every club has to kick off and spoil the night for the vast majority which are only interested in the football, lets hope if there is any trouble the police do not shy away from it .

as to the quote .

Eleven of the troublemakers were jailed by a judge who described the events as "the worst night of

violence and destruction suffered by Manchester city centre since the Blitz.

my learned friend should hang his heed in shame.
