Broomloanblues1 8
That's about 5.5 ft x 2.5 ft?I thought it was just the bigger flags/banners you needed a certificate for...At first i thought the cane was to big but he told me the cane is fine but you cant take flags in without a fire certificate
andyspeake 0
That's about 5.5 ft x 2.5 ft?I thought it was just the bigger flags/banners you needed a certificate for...Correct. If it was a normal steward you should have asked to see there supervisor, what did they do with it?
Broomloanblues1 8
Correct. If it was a normal steward you should have asked to see there supervisor, what did they do with it?Asked him if i could put it somewhere then get it after the game he said im afraid not So i Planked it behind the Ticket office and after the game it was still there
Jelle1880 215
Absolutely ridiculous rules these days. What's next, you can't accompany an elder person into the ground without a nursing degree ?
Adoniram 1,919
How will it catch fire inside a ground with a no smoking ban in force. Are there regular occurrences of spontaneous combustion at Ibrox we don't know about?Yet another pathetic example of the kind of shite that is foisted upon us by nanny state wankers.A fire hazard.....laughable. How many flags were in the stadium last night????I am a retired F/m. You should have asked,"from under what section of the Fire Precautions Act it was deemed necessary for it to require a Cert"? They can't tell by looking at it what material it is made from, whether it's a flammable material or whether it's been retardant treated, it is typical of these chancers, ask him/her the next time, " I haven't got a fire cert for my clothes, do you want me to take my clothes off as they also can catch fire?".Also where are the naked lights, inside the stadium?,(ok, we all are aware somebody might have matches in their pocket). The world's gone mad!!! Ozblue 4,331
It has nothing to do with the stewards and this problem is Universal by the looks of it.At the recent Festival of Football at the Sydney Football Stadium where rangers came over for the pre-season, the same rule applied. We could not bring in a flag bigger than 1 metre X 1 metre unless having written permission beforehand. Our flags had to be registered at least 30 minutes before kick off at the stadium office and here's the biggest loads of shite.....They HAD to be FLAMEPROOF! I asked the question..."Do you think we are going to set fire to our own fucking flags, mate?"The imbeciles have taken over the asylum.

Hi Ozblue, I totally agree the problem is universal, the namby, pamby state, where they believe people can't think for themselves! I have to disagree a wee bit with you though regarding the stewards, where some are excellent and very helpful in what they do,some see it as their only chance to show they have a wee bit of power before they go back home and back under the watchful gaze of their spouses!Cheers

AlwaysRangers 2
Welcome to the shite we have had to put up with for over 3 years now bears, once we find a way of stopping this reason being given they simply move the goal posts. All I can say is be smart, don't let these cunts win and keep showing the desire to bring our flags and banners into our dear old Ibrox park!

It just depends if you get a dig off a jobsworth steward.I've not decided yet if I'm taking it yet mate. I'm 50-50.
