Excellent stuff. Reading over some of those, you get a wee picture of what kind of game footy was then.. really tough! 'Charging' players seems fairly common. I wonder if our founders would recognise what is called 'Football' now? "Play up, Play up! Return the Leather!"

Aye it was a game played by men in those days, today's pampered ''stars'' just wouldn't have survived.
