Willie Collum better follow the script.

Lennon, Liewell, their official-attacking fans and certain sections of the media have made it clear.

Shellick don't get everything their own way. This is clearly unfair and based in prejudice.

Willie Collum, an RC RE teacher, better help Celtic or else, his young career may be over.

I expect us to get shafted off the ref today. I hope I'm wrong, but I see the script unfolding as has been demanded by Dirty Tricks FC.

That said, there is the possibility that it will backfire and the referee will resist such "overtures" and officiate farily.

We can only wait and hope.

I'm particularly concerned, since the SFA are falling over themselves to explain the small matter of why a penalty was rightly disallowed and the linesman has allegedly resigned over the handling of the matter.

They were even too scared to pull up Lemon for repeatedly shouting "f*cking cheat" at the referee several times. Video evidence wasn't sufficient for that matter to be dealt with.

Photoshop a Rangers tracksuit jacket on him and they'd notice. No! Don't do that. That would be sacriligious!

they went nuts a collum before becaus he gave hearts a stonewall penalty.

they were raging that a catholic re teacher and celtc fan could penalise them in anyway. the script has bee writen lets hope collum for gets his lines or indeed has proper ambiton to be a top referee.

everytime they get near the box or in it they will go to ground.

collum will be expected to and no doubt will deliver free kicks and penalties.

we need to be at our best here and keep them away from our half of the park as much as possible.

I fear you're absolutely spot on there, my friend.

I hate to say I told you so!

:craphead:

Fair does. He had the strength of character to call it as he saw it.

That said, Stokes, Samaras and Loovens could have been off. McCulloch was harshly dealt with by comparison.

Nonetheless, glad he proved my worst suspicions wrong.

Perhaps it is a self-fulling prophecy. Maybe refs resist their pressure.

It's a self-fulfilling prophecy in that the referees/the SFA/whoever can't be seen to be giving credence Celtc's continuing wild accusations that everyone in Scotland's out to get them.

When Lennon asks the referee to be strong, ie 'give decisions our way', what will always happen is the referee will think 'I can't give that decision against Celtic, it'll make it look like the paranoiacs have a point. So I'll give it Rangers' way'. I'm sure a psychologist could explain it better than me.
