Who says he's got money?

I find myself in an amazing position by wondering if I want us to spend money as we have a settled side and don't want to upset the apple cart.

I'd be against spending much money. I'd love us to bring in a couple of players like Conway and Gomis to beef up our squad without spending THAT much.

Walter stated that it is highly unlikely that we will sign any players in the January transfer window, which suits me fine because I think the January transfer window should be abolished and we shouldn't sign any players unless it is really necessary.

Look where January signings got Mowbray. By the time the new players had settled in, the league was over for them.

i actually think we are fine. I am quite excited at some of the players that are coming through now. Kyle Hutton, Greg Wylde, Andrew Little etc all look very capable...

Also i dont think Walter will get a bean to speand.

No we're not, wait until Bougherra gets injured or davie weir gets suspended then we need to rely on younger players which clearly is weakening out team.

so we need back up. . we need back up for papac also.

There's an article on the BBC, I think it was his pre-match press conference for the Killie game, where he says it's unlikely there'll be any new arrivals. He says it 'doesn't look like it', though that's not to say it's been ruled out completely.

actually we really should have money to spend

last year we spent 8 million on player and reduced debt by 4 we took in only 1.4 million from player sales.

this year purchases are less, costs are down . player sales and european income are up.

really their should be money to spend.

I'd try and cash in on Webster, perhaps get a Dundee United player if possible for him Gomis perhaps? That way if we are short at the back McCulloch or Perry can step in. until the summer when we can have right good look at the market for a centre back. If we get money for Webster I'd actually take Fanny Wilson back for six months just as cover. I know we have no money really but say Leigh Griffiths was available for 50k I'd take a punt too. Just trying to be realistic
