One potential positive

Terrible day, terrible performance, probably got more than we deserved. No point beating the t*rriers and then going and doing that, what a fucking lift to give to them. I'm aware we were always going to drop points eventually but i don't give a toss, the manner in which we've done it today is shocking.

Only positive i can possibly see out of today is that it may give them a wake up call, they can't just turn up and expect to win games like they seemed to today and they've also won fuck all yet, we're only just going into November and it's tight at the top. The hard work has to continue and they need to keep playing for each other like we did at Celtic Park, a small squad with even more injuries looking possible after today and we don't have an awful lot of quality, our success is mainly built upon team work and experience.

Pretty disgusted by today but we go on, Valencia isn't the game to judge their response by, St Mirren is, we must win there and win well.

You'd hope this gives them a kick up the arse. Dundee United aside, we haven't taken the lead and then look to try and get more from the game. We've played by far our best football when coming from behind. There's far more urgency in the team when the odds might be stacked against us.

We were piss poor today. Didn't create enough chances, didn't build on our one nil lead and let them back in the game. Very sloppy today and I couldn't pick out anyone that had a good game.

We had chances, it just didn't go our way. Defense was very sloppy though, McGregor saved us from a loss

STB in positive post shocker :pipe:

I haven't seen the game, but it sounds as though the players had half an eye on the Valencia game, and were a bit complacent. As you say though, hopefully it'll give the players a boot up the arse to give the lower teams respect. Also, you'd rather drop points the game after an Old Firm rather than the one before it. It was a massive effort to get to this point of the season without dropping points, hopefully this is the warning we need to kick on with our season.

Well certainly post along the line of 'we're doomed' aren't fair considering our overall start to the season. :pipe:

It just reminds us that there's still plenty of work to be done this season, to be fair with the record we've had you'd expect to have some sort of cushion but obviously Celtic have won as many games as us.

A poor, sluggish and frustrating performance, yes.

BUT

At the start of the season, i would have been more than happy, if someone could have offered us 28 points out of a potential 30 from 10 games, after visiting, pittodrie, tynecastle, easter road and the piggery.

There is a long way to go yet, and this is just the type of reality check that comes along when a feeling of invincibility is in the air. A constructive drop of points, if there could be such a thing.

Still top of the league, still undefeated, still The Champions.

When you look at it that way, it lesses the hurt a bit, need to get back to winning ways.
