Rooney out of Rangers game.

Ruled out for another five weeks and will miss the Rangers Champions League match.

Although he's not been playing well, this is good news on a playing sense. However, slightly dissappointed as one of the great things about playing in the Champions League, is being able to watch the best players around the World at Ibrox.

agreed it would be better to gub the rags with theyre full team on the pitch

but we can always get him again in the final :pipe:

Hopefully Man U are already through and play another weakened side with most of their stars out.

Although, they aren't having a great season, a weak Man Utd side is still a pretty strong side! And I'm not a Man Utd supporter.

I too hope they are through by the time they visit Ibrox but I suspect they'll still give Gers a tough match.

Well, it gives them a ready made excuse! lol

But they will stil have over 100 million pounds of players on the pitch. For what it's worth, I loved seeing Rooney against The Gers at OT. It's great as you say Muff, to see world class players against us and how we cope. Which we did @ OT. (I like Rooney. Super quick, superb eye for goal, great movement, strong, great in the air too. And enough of an 'attitude').

We are not losing to them. I'm very hopeful that the ICT result was a serious abnormality and we will be back to proper form come Tuesday.

Who cares?

Rooney is over rated and he couldn't get a shot on target against us the last time we faced Man United let alone score against The Rangers so it's no big deal. (tu)

It's what we do against them at Ibrox that matters and this season I would rather have Kenny Miller up front in my side for a massive game like this than Rooney tbh. :beer1:

I have seen Rooney play in the flesh obviously not taking anything away from him he`s a class player but he is FAR too over rated. When things dont go the teams way there isn`t a worse player to have on the pitch cant keep his cool and keep his temper under raps. Am gutted hes out of the game at Ibrox in my eyes Berba and Hernandez are a bigger threat
