Boyd Vs Bristol City

Recommended Posts

Do we have to continually indulge in this schadenfreude?

Boyd is our all-time SPL top-scorer and although he left on a sour note, it should in no way over-shadow his achievements here. He loved The Rangers and he loved scoring for us.

Agree, but maybe if he was a bit more honest with the club and our fans he wouldn't have left on a sour note. He's took a major backwards step and he now knows it. He's made his bed, and we have moved on.

i love what boyd done for us in the goal scoring front, how folk can just forget about it and turn on the guy for moving on bheggars belief, hes human and wanted a change, it aint the easiest place to live when you have family and the pressures that come with it, i always look and hope that when players leave they can do well, its good on the club as well as good for the player

No one can take away his achievements but he lied to the supporters.

If he had been honest you probably wouldn't read negative comments.

Loads of players leave to 'better themselves' and have our best wishes,he dragged it on then admitted he had made his mind up in January.

No way to treat the fans that worshipped the ground he walked on.

Hardly. A large percentage of the fans never wanted him anywhere near the first 11 - even given his goalscoring record.

Ok good point but the ones that did back him with the banners etc didn't deserve that.

I think if he had said in January he intended to leave it may have been different,i know i would have taken it better anyway.

If I may...

I hate seeing Boyd like this. One of my idols during his time here, and although the way he left was shocking, I still remember everything he has done for us, and the good times we had with Boyd's goals.
