The Glasgow giants are willing to wait until the end of the campaign to try their luck and offer him the pay deal that Derby may not be able to match.

I take it it's not all Walter then seeing as he's standing down at the end of the season making it a McCoist signing.

Only seen flashes of him and he looks a great player on his day. Probably prone to disappearing from games like the majority of wingers do though.

Given that he'd be available on a free at the end of the season, I'd be stunned if we signed him in January.

I have always liked commons, can be inconsistent but I don't see him every week. On the occasions I have watched derby he has always been at the forefront of everything they do in attack. I liked him at forrest as well when he was younger. Would do well up here (tu)

Doubtful, they work together closely (ally and walter), they have worked with Kris before (national team), chances are they would both be wanting to sign the player and if there is any truth in it, we would probably go for him regardless of who is in charge, much like the way we signed Webster.

Yea I'm just being nit picky with the article as it's silly to say Walter wants to sign him at the end of the season when he wont be here.

I think Walter and Ally will probably have the same taste in player so agree with the rest of your post.
