BigBearAl 15
Rumours flying about that Liverpool and other big senders down south are looking at Charlie Adam. Figures of 7,8 and 9 million getting mentioned. Does anyone know if we have a sell on clause?
FlippinEck 3,510
Ive heard 20% but I honestly have no idea, I hope we do
djbroxybear 658
The figure quoted at the time was 20%..Charlie is going to court due to unpaid survival bonus money not being paid, if he wins the case he will get out his 2 years left on his contract and leave for free. Holloway has said its to do with him and the club he is not getting involved..Would you take Charlie Back??

Adam has really progressed into one of the best midfielders in Britain, the decision to sell him at the time was the right one however.
Dennis 1,011
I'd take him back the morra if we got the chance.
Mikhailichenko 90
Based on his performances for Blackpool I would take him back. However you have to ask would he be utilised in the same way for Rangers as he is for 'pool. Also his attitude appeared suspect when he was with us. I would be willing to give him the benefit of the doubt and prove that he has developed as a footballer and a person.
bombaybadboy08 15,660
Wouldn't take him back.I think he's thriving with the pressure off down there,if he came back into the goldfish bowl again i could see it going pear shaped.Delighted it's worked out for him though,

Holloway has said its to do with him and the club he is not getting involved..Would you take Charlie Back??We couldn't afford him now. Even without a transfer fee to pay, he'll be being offered £25k+pw. As sad as it is, at the moment wee Charlie's out of our league.
Ferdasyn 431
I hope we don't have a sell on clause. Our mistake punting him out the door for nothing in the first place.
Scott-RFC 308
Anyone who wanted him out but would take him back now has fallen for the spin of the English gameHe is pretty much the exact same player which left us, maybe marginally improved , and in no way 7-8m pound playerIf he is worth 8m then Steven Davis is worth 15m minimum
lgr1991 303
If he could keep his current form up, then i would take him back, however, i do not think selling at the time was a mistake, we had so many players ahead of him in CM which forced him to play LM, where tbh he was pish, not his fault though. Right decision that looks bad in hindsight

j1mgg 3,766
I caught some of the game last night and he does look improved and was trying things he wouldnt of even thought about at his time here.I hope we do have a sell on clause but I think he would get back into his old ways if he came back to us, which I hope he doesnt. Smile 26,532
I still think watching him he's the same player just got more confidence, Adam was always decent when he kept his game simple.I was a bit pissed of when we sold him but its worked out well for him and to be honest we havent really struggled without him. ManchestGer 336
He's impressed me since his move to Blackpool and thank him for scoring the first goal last night which I got 9/1 for but I'm not sure whether a move back to us would be the best move for either him or us. Scott-RFC 308
I still think watching him he's the same player just got more confidence,Hes the same player with a lot more freedomImagine he done what he done at Birmingham last week and cost us an SPL game, it would be the last time he played this yearLost count of how many shots he hit over the bar, and how many crosses went over the back for a goal kick last nightHe suits playing in a team with no expectations

Irwin Sparkes 97
I hope we don't have a sell on clause. So you'd rather we lost out on a potential £1-2 million because you didn't agree with selling him in the first place? What a warped opinion

Here opposition players are psyched up to close down old firm players quicker than usual and are happy to leave their studs in as we have seen recently. Ferdasyn 431
Maybe it'll make us think twice about forcing someone out the door before giving a chance in their proper position.Selling Charlie Adam for 500k was a sin.The folk saying 'he's found his level' - you said this last year about the Championship.Has he now 'found his level' playing brilliantly in the EPL week in, week out? Against a team who park the bus and close players down for 90 minutes he's useless.
