G.E.C. 17,904
Man Utd beat Bursa 3-0, that is them now through to the knockout stages. When they come to Ibrox they will probably rest Berbatov, Evra Hernandez and Scholes. Rooney is also injured. We should have a go at them, their defence isn't the best in the world. Everton, Liverpool, Scunthorpe, Bolton, Fulham, Wolves and West Brom have all scored 2 or more past them, I don't see why we can't score.I'm still confident for it! Papa Sasac 164
Reckon we'll play 5-4-1 again?
simplythebest 11,437
Man Utd will be a very tough game regardless of their position in the group or the few injuries they have.We may as well have a go, there isn't an awful lot left to lose now. Valencia aren't going to fail to beat Bursaspor.
BR_54 15
Can't wait for it!Going into this game, knowing that our CL fate is in our own hands, is something that very few on here expected, yet here we are.
Scott-RFC 308
Man Utd will be nothing but excellent opposition, but Ive seen nothing from this Rangers team to suggest we cannot beat them on the night
skinnymate1690 566
not confident , i think man utd will pick up and start playing the way we all know they can , but it all depends on the team they play
Goianegra 4,593
I'll let you know when I see the team.Think if the fans are as good as we were against Valencia we could steal it.
Amac9 2,060
Man Utd are starting to hit a bit of form now.Why not give them a game instead of sitting off them for 90 minutes?
BR_54 15
Man Utd will be nothing but excellent opposition, but Ive seen nothing from this Rangers team to suggest we cannot beat them on the nightThe fact that the players and staff know that we MUST win - unless Bursa somehow get a result - however we are yet almost guaranteed EL football, will be an advantage too.I'm definitely not saying we will be on the front foot, just that we will be committed on the counter. martyboy2009 11
We will play 5-4-1 no matter how many players they drop.
bombaybadboy08 15,660
I'm confident against anyone at Ibrox, they don't need to win and we want to win.
Scott-RFC 308
No matter who they drop they will have a team which is valued higher than ours, and a manager who would absolutely hate to be considered to have "done us a favour"

WeeBlue 39
After the home game v Valencia I'm confident we can beat Utd.
minstral 5,375
Lack of pace in our defence scares me.

chris182 5,884
Really hope we can get the win but it's pointless unless we can follow it up with a victory in Turkey. If we can go to Turkey still in the mix, I reckon we'll do it Bursa's confidence will be in the gutter if Valencia give them a doing - five straight defeats
scotty657 1
We'll take them 2-0.
skyehigh 2
If super Walter can drag himself away from the usual tactics, we can beat United easily at Ibrox . But we all know he wont and the inevitable will happen
Ozblue 4,331
Man Utd beat Bursa 3-0, that is them now through to the knockout stages. Everton, Liverpool, Scunthorpe, Bolton, Fulham, Wolves and West Brom have all scored 2 or more past them, I don't see why we can't score.I'm still confident for it!They aren't through yet GEC....Here's a scenario that is improbable but could technically still happen. It will take a miracle for us to go through to the last 16. Manchester United can't afford to not put their strongest side out against us for fear that technically they could get knocked out in their final game by ValenciaHere's a hypothetical scenario that would give Sir Alex fucking heart failure.Rangers 1- Manchester Utd. 0Valencia 2- Bursaspor 0Going in to match day 6 here is the table. Valencia P5 W3 D1 L1 GD 8...... pts 10Man Utd.P5 W3 D1 L1 GD 4.......pts 10Rangers P5 W2 D2 L1 GD -1.......pts 8Bursaspor P5 W0 D0 L5 GD -11.....pts 0Now say we beat Bursaspor in our last game, we end up with 11 points which means that Valencia and Man Utd would have to draw for both of them to go through on goal difference unless we beat Bursaspor by 4 clear goals.I'd love to see it but I'll bet my nuts that Fergie will have his best line up on the park at Ibrox. delparlane 5,243
We can beat them if we play like we played against Valencia at Ibrox. Everybody has to be willing to get after them, though - close down, get in their faces, don't give them acres of space and invite them in. Learn from last night and take the fight to them. docspiderman 1,116
Man Utd will be nothing but excellent opposition, but Ive seen nothing from this Rangers team to suggest we cannot beat them on the nightIf we play the tactics employed against Valencia last night, whose defence was there for the taking, then we will again get what we deserve.
