Guest Posted November 8, 2010 Share Posted November 8, 2010 A double from the experienced Sean O’Connor was enough to defeat a Rangers youth side at Murray Park this morning. The game was arranged to provide game time to the under 19 squad who have not been playing recently. A few players were returning from injury and a couple of under 17′s started.The first real chance came after quarter of an hour and it saw the visitor’s trialist keeper scoop an Anthony Marenghi shot from the edge of the box round the post for a corner. Five minutes later and a great Andy Mitchell challenge diverted Sean O’Connor’s effort from the eighteen yard line.
