we beat killie 2 weeks ago whilst fielding a weakened side, ive no reason to doubt we will beat them with the team we select,IF the players selected perform to level expected of a gers player

Hardly a weakened side, Killie created the most chances, missed a few sitters and if they had a striker that night, would have burried us - for the best part of 55-60 minutes, we were a disgrace.

Surely Lee McCulloch can handle Connor Sammon

Based on what?

Sammon has decent pace, is playing well, scoring goals, great in the air, strong, decent movement, a tim... McCulloch isn't a CB, is slow as fuck, playing shit, crap in the air, struggles to stay goal side and pick up a man...

Was not a weak team but certainly not full strength.

When we have a fully fit squad 6 players that started that night would play. McGregor, Davis, Papac, Miller and Jelavic are very important players to us that did not start that night.

Alexander

Whittaker Bougherra Weir Broadfoot

Weiss McCulloch Edu Wylde

Little Naismith

Papac was injured? Jelavic was injured - so no point in mentioning them, Davis was dropped completely, for a reason I can't remember, Miller played 20 odd minutes... hardly a massive set of changes and for the majority of the game we were shite. 1 or 2 changes would not have made a difference as we have been that way for the majority of the season.

How is there no point in mentioning Papac or Jelavic?

The guy you quoted said we played a weakened team and compared to our first choice starting eleven(see below) it was a weakened team no matter if those players were injured or rested.

McGregor

Whittaker Bougherra Weir Papac

Naismith Davis Edu/McCulloch Weiss

Jelavic Miller

Unless you believe that those five players in bold would not make a huge difference to the team that started against Kilmarnock that night?

We did play poor, another reason why I believe and have stated this is going to be a tricky fixture at the weekend, especially with the amount of players missing.

Some say Alexander is better all round than McGregor - anyway, Alexander kept a clean sheet so that argument does not wash!

Again, some dispise Papac and do not rate him. I don't rate either Papac or Broadfoot, but Papac is a better all round player.

Davis was left out altogether, was he not carrying a knock/rested? Anyway, as shit as Edu and McCulloch are together, they should still be good enough to compete with Kilmarnock... a team who made a few changes.

Miller was given a rest and rightly so... Jelavic - not much point in mentioning him, played a few games, we have plenty to replace him and have won without him.

I feel safe when Alexander plays, more consistent than McGregor and better at cross balls. Alan is a better shot stopper and when on his top form is the better keeper.

Papac has been one of our most consistent players since Walter came back, no contest Sasa is far superior to Kirk.

That's the most probably team that will play Saturday lunchtime if all fit, been the same starting 11 that has played Kilmarnock's last two matches in the SPL.
