klbs-RFC 21 Posted November 22, 2010 Share Posted November 22, 2010 Microsoft has announced that all XBLA Free members will be upgraded to Gold next weekend as part of its Xbox Free LIVE Weekend.Commencing on November 26, the promotion grants free subscribers access to online gaming, voice chat, Video Kinect, music and video streaming, and social networking features.During the event, Call Of Duty: Black Ops players will earn double XP points. Additional options including custom games, regional matchmaking and split-screen for guest players will also be available to Gold members throughout the weekend.Furthermore, there will be discounts on Xbox Live Marketplace purchases, as well as competitions and tournaments.The promotion runs between November 26 and November 28.
