skinnymate1690 566
Simple question after harry's comments at the weekend Imo they are a really good striker and a CB away from being genuine contenders (sp)Someone like huntelaar and gary cahill
Papa Sasac 164
Extremely close. A bit of work on their defence and they're set. Left back, Ekotto isn't the best, and their centre backs aren't they greatest either. Gomes can either be fantastic or ridiculous as well, so a better quality, more steady defence. Tristan 11
MilesThis knee jerk reaction to them beating Arsenal is hilarious. Had they lost that match, they'd be sitting in mid table. They haven't kept a clean sheet since the opening day of the season and are the only team to have lost to West Ham
GersDude90 1
Title winning teams are built upon a solid defence and Spurs defence is a shambles.Middle to front they are as good as anyone though.

Arsenal threw the game away. They would of been 10 points behind Arsenal had they lost.

BlueSuedeSambas 52,642
Knee jerk reaction.Spurs are still several years away from being able to compete for the title.Their record against the traditional big four is horrific and they still drop far too many silly points too (Bolton away, West Ham, West Brom already this year)This Spurs team can compete in the one off big occassions, but they lack the mental toughness and experience to win the league. Madina 3,397
I would honestly be very suprised if Spurs were to win the league within the next decade, I just cant see it happening
PaulRFC1 115
Miles. They have a good squad but they wont win the title for a long time.
Goianegra 4,600
A better GK, a much better defence, a slightly better midfield and annother striker...
SirWalterSmithLegend 206
Consistancy and a top striker away from it.They have a fabulous squad, full of young, hungry gifted footballers. We bit of belief and a better attitude after Euro games and they will not be far away.Forlan in Jan would make them serious contenders. disgruntled_bear 157
They ain't far off, the gap is getting closer.Man Utd and Chelsea are on the decline, and will need a major rebuilding job soon.

Manchester Celtic 3. Arsenal 4. Man City 5. Spursthey were terrible first half, Arsenal jst chucked it second half, i reckon they were all in the dressing room on their iphones and blackberrys betting in play on spurs to win the game 2-3 to be honest. MartinGers93 388
2 to 3 years they will have their usual Spurs bad patch where they lose very stupid games and fall away but i think they will get 4th again
mmrfc1873 48
Don't think they are as far away as people are making out, if they keep up the way their playing consistency, maybe bring in some experienced heads and maybe bring in 1 or 2 fresh players then they'll certainly look to be one of the favourites. Chelsea and Man utd will keep slipping up and Arsenal will eventually slip away from the title chase and show everybody what shitebags they really are, again. So why not ? mmrfc1873 48
They don't have the best squad or team in the premier league.Didn't say they did, but their better than the majority of the premiership, they get 1 or 2 new faces in there and stay consistent then they will be in with a serious shout.
