it does and it is.

thats a fact of law as i have shown many many times.

no matter how deep your head is in the sand, no matter how much you cover your ears and should nannanananannana, no matter how much you dont want it to be true it is.

I hate to say this booler, but it appears that the fucking horse has bolted; and the people entrusted to speak out for the supporters and who should be defending these accusations are just about shutting the stable door, mate!

If RFC are not going to stand their ground, the gemme's a bogey, because nobody else will fight the cause to get the Billy Boys or any other song deemed offensive/sectarian/bigotted to be allowed to be sung at football grounds.

The ONLY way this will get sorted out once and for all is if EVERY supporter keeps singing it and if they get arrested or banned from the grounds, take them on in the highest court in the land and see who's right or wrong.

Call their bluff otherwise.! :mad::sherlock:

its been through the courts repeatedly we lost.

So yet another warning about singing the Billy Boys because it contains an offensive word (fenian)

If the taigs are allowed to sing 'Paddy McCourt's fenian army' then we should have the right to sing 'We're up to our knees in fenian blood!'

The word; "Fenian" isn't an offensive word in any way, shape or form,mate!...and that's not what has got all these sensitive wee souls all frothing at the mouth these days.

The word; "Blood" isn't an offensive word either, but when you string the two inoffensive words together in a song, then that's where the gnashing of teeth come in from these "Oh my God! I'm mortally traumatised at that song" brigade and their lily~livered self righteous apologistic moral defenders of society.

That's the whole crux of the matter...and everybody seems to be unwilling to call their fucking bluff and see how much balls they have to go on with it.

its been through the courts repeatedly we lost.

I was very unaware that any particular song was actually named in these cases.

Now I certainly may be wrong in this, being far away from the action, as it were, but I would like to see any court ruling or edict from FIFA...Uefa..SPL...SFA etc! that mentions these songs in particular.

Maybe you or any other RM member can enlighten me on this subject.

Thanks in advance, guys.

The sanctions available include fines, annulling and replaying of fixtures, deduction of points, closing all or part of a stadium and playing matches behind closed doors, withholding the title and, ultimately, expulsion from the league.

these are the sancions available to the spl.

so something is being done.

No - on the contrary, nothings been done.

The case was in 2006

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/4787496.stm

They (The RC Establishment) have just ignored it and continue to discriminate, at taxpayers expense, against hundreds of teachers who are not of the RC faith.

There is no point qualifying as a teacher in Scotland if you are not a RC as your job and promotion prospects are severely diminished by the discriminatory policies of the RC Church.

You would be as well singing The Billy Boys and the Famine Song on a Saturday.

I remember the days,

I remember the time,

When being a Protestant

wasn't a crime.

You got lifted for thieving

or dealing in hash,

Not wearing a Blue scarf

or singing The Sash.

When the Blue of Rangers

could be so proudly worn

not tramped in the gutter

or treated with scorn.

When the songs of our culture

were sang loud and clear,

But now we're a culture

that's riddled with fear.

We can't tell those fenians

it's time to go home,

The Billy Boys gone

so is no pope of rome.

We Must Stand Together

or Together we fall,

Like the days of Lord Carson

We must answer the call.

And Shoulder to Shoulder

Together let's Stand,

Let's Fight for our Country

United Let's Stand.

NO FUCKING SURRENDER ! :sherlock:

Eventually in 2008 (how many years is that?) a non RC teacher progressed to the top of the tree in a RC school.

But only because they couldn't find one of their own.

They wouldn't even call her a Head - they called her a 'Manager of Learning' - a phrase never before heard of in the history of that or any other school.

If she had been a RC she would have been called a head teacher - why the difference?

I think we all know why - a shower of bigoted bastards practicing workplace discrimination at the taxpayers expense.

I watched the game and could hear fans singing about "the hills of County Down", "the Antrim Plain", "a loyal Ulsterman", "the Falls", "the Shankill", "the UVF", "Bobby Sands", "the YCV" and others.

Obviously none of the above deserves the deduction of points.

However, is it not time to sing about other themes?
