I don't think he's this unbeatable boxer when healthy that some seem to paint him as now. But.... like tonight, Wlad couldn't pull the trigger when it mattered.... and didn't know what to do with an awkward, unorthodox, and career best Fury. The fight was pretty 50/50 cagey affair until Joshua had a burst in the 5th.... and very nearly paid the price for it. Again a prime WK doesn't let him off in the latter part of the 5th. Its amazing how people see things mate I think Fury would just be a younger Wlad plenty of movement whilst the footwork might not be the same I think Fury pulls the trigger and steps on the gas when his moments come. He was winning a fight before succumbing to a younger, elite level, hard punching, fighter. WK's rep isn't dented at all. At 41 he has no right to be competing - but still did. That was one of the best performances i've seen from Wlad in years. To get up from the first knockdown, look out of it, then flip it round and hit AJ with a Hayemaker, take control of the fight and IMO be up on points was incredible. Most Wlad fights I have seen have been slow, boring, predictable where he would easily just outbox, almost like Mayweather did in the sense he wouldn't be exciting but you just knew he would win on points because he's a class above. I agree that I don't think it's as easy to say a younger Wlad wins. The advantage a younger Wlad would obviously have would be youth and possibly speed. However, he looked in incredible condition, possibly as good as i've seen. He was fast, nimble and aggressive. I don't think age beat him IMO. He's also much smarter, wiser and more experienced now and hits just as hard. I guess we'll never know how it would have unfolded though.......... Even at British title level Whyte showed it. It's all on Fury, what happened to him was terrible but to melt down the way he did shows weakness. But if he can come back, and hit the levels he did against Wlad he's so unorthodox and awkward that he'll fry Joshua's brain. Comfortable win for Fury if he can come through the crisis spells, Wlads age stopped him from doing so. But fair play to Joshua.
