Gash07 26
For the not so sharp, the reference to a broken hip was merely a nod at a common injury suffered by the elderly.
Skelf 1,153
If the decision gets changed then you will. As it stands then I dont think so. It'll depend if the bookies are feeling generous or not. When did you change your name by the way?Few weeks ago. Thought it was time for a wee change
Gash07 26
Popkins v Dawson. Wbc have ruled, the bout to be scored a technical draw. The pensioner remains the champ.

I hope Hopkins fights Cleverly now. If not then I hope clev and enzo fight, it could be a good laugh.

bdog19 16
Stayed up late to watch Donaire v Narvaez last night. Felt sorry for Donaire, he came to fight & Narvaez just defended all night. Offered nothing in attack. Donaire won 120-108 on all 3 cards. The fight on the undercard between Mikey Garcia & JC Martinez was more entertaining. Garcia stopped him after 4, very impressive. 27 fights with 23 KO's at featherweight. Don't know how good any of the guys have been that he has faced previously though, but he certainly looks like a good prospect at only 23. Problem is they take so long to season these young fighters.
Gash07 26
It was a total mismatch. Donaire was a giant compared to him.Narvaez looked pretty skilled defensively, indeed his entire career he's been a very defensive fighter, but he had no chance of beating Donaire. If he opened up he'd just of got KO'd, thus it was an absolutely crap match-up bringing Narvaez up in weight to face him.A good big 'un will always beat a good little 'un, and well Donaire just looked the much bigger man in there.Yep, it was poor matchmaking on top ranks part, although 9 months out didn't help Nonitos cause. PaddockLoyal 105
More Mayweather bullshit. Who books a PPV date and a huge venue before actually negotiating the terms of a fight? No doubt Floyd will find some ridiculous requests to prevent any chance of an agreement, then fight another bum like Ortiz. Gash07 26
Floyd always tries to steal some limelight when there is a Pac fight looming. Don't get excited. Pac has his hands full next week anyway. Believe that.Fantastic weekend of fights. Burns v Kats, Bute v Johnson, Mcewen v Quillin and the best of all Angulo v Kirkland, which as far I can see is the only one not being shown here.Typical.Edit: Mcewen is actually on the mexico card so thats not on either. PaddockLoyal 105
Happens all the time actually. In fights of this scale? No.If it was the usual Mayweather/Pacquiao vs. Nobody scenario I'm pretty sure either could get away with picking the venue/date with little consequence. Not for a fight like this, and Floyd knows that.

Arum announced a venue and waited for a opponent. Pretty sure the Cotto fight was the same azwel. Arum is a complete arse of a man and people can't see that sometimes

Gash07 26
Well there are few fights in history that equal the magnitude of pac-floyd doesn't alter the fact that it is fairly routine to put a venue and date on hold before an opponent is finalised.I do believe it's bull shit though, just not for those reasons. If Mayweathers team wanted to enter into serious negotiations it wouldn't be done through the media and certainly not in the week of a pac fight.
