JamieD 20,043
On a good pitch like Hampden's I'd rather see Ness and Weiss starting.
Dexter25 2
Not the team I would have selected but it should be good enough to get us through.

butthole 159
Not happy with that team, the likes of Weiss and Ness would excel on a big pitch at hampden.

MasterD 7,457
Not surprised with that CM pairing today, Edu needed a start with McCulloch being out for the next 3 games, and with McCulloch going to be out they games he wasn't going to rest him today

TravelingWilBEARy 4,319
Ness should be ahead of McCulloch
mark_ni 12
mcculloch and edu are poor together but i reckon smith is thinking ahead. Giving ness a rest (hes only 19 dont forget and has had big injury problems so i think a rest would do him good) and playing mcculloch because hes suspended for 3 spl games. Give edu a start to get his fitness back up so that hes up to speed when mcculloch is suspended. I would expect Ness and edu in the middle in the 3 games mcculloch is suspended for. Ness should be well rested and edu should be nearly at full fitness by then.

Irwin Sparkes 97
There was no chance of McCulloch being dropped for a cup semi final so i'm not too bothered. I thought he might have been dropped against Hibs, hence my anger (which isn't there today) when he wasn't
