E H Diouf

He is exactly what we need in Europe and the SPL. A confident midfielder who really keeps possession and moves and passes the ball around. Very good first touch and

opens up the way for others. Weiss seems to feed off him and ups his game. Strikers have a better chance too. Hopefully he will inspire Davis and the younger midfielders to better things too.

Looks a great signing so far.

I thought he was a great signing straight away and hes proving the critics wrong right now. Hope he continues to get better and rips the t*rriers a new arsehole next week. Didnt buy into how terrible a person people made him out.....ye a man or a mouse.

Does indeed. He sounds like an author though when you write E H Diouf :sherlock:

Yes, he's performing well and getting his head down!

I still fear the lid blowing off though and him completely losing it.. hope I'm proved wrong

Could see him winding up a well player today - probably boasting about all the money he has

That swagger when he comes onto the pitch is classic, I actually hope his arrogance rubs off on a few others they need to start believing in how good they are.

fantastic signing. would love to see him score because he deserves it. hasn't been playing a striking role or anything. hes very much been a feeder. if im honest, i think he was the real reason the game went so well today. he just seemed to keep posession flowing and takes on his man. would love it if we could make this move permanent!! :)

did you see the kiss he gave the fans haha Diouf Diouf Diouf !!!(tu)

Quality haha right in front of me (Row A BF5) but his run in the 1st half when he took 3 players with him then just stopped with the ball was sheer class, this guy can play football and i only hope we can sign him at the end of his loan spell !!!

Am I correct in saying his contract with Blackburn runs out in the summer? If he keeps performing the way he has been I hope we can get him on a free after his loan spell.

Hope your right mate but my worry then would be a massive wage drop for him, could he sustain that for the love of our great club ??? Lets hope so !!!

Not sure what his wages are with Blackburn but no doubt he would have to take a big wage drop, is El Hadji Diouf the kind of person who would be willing to do that? I'm not so sure.

Was against the move for attitude reasons rather than footballing ones cause he's always looked a class player, but, as people have said, he is proving any doubters wrong and we should look at getting him on the cheap in the summer.

I remember reading most people's reactions when we brought in El Hadji Diouf and Kyle Bartley on January deadline day. Most people weren't too impressed with both of them joining us including myself but so far both look to be very good additions to our squad and proved a lot of us wrong. Long may it continue.

Agreed m8, i always knew Diouf had the ability but some of his "antics" have let him down but i'm all for 2nd chances but when it came to Bartley well that was the unknown for me just had to reserve judgement until such times like today when he looked great, i would say we do look stronger with the signings we have made along with Jamie Ness but i do feel sorry for Kyle Hutton who had a cracking game against Man Utd then nothing !!!

Yep mate, Ness has looked outstanding in each game he has played. Not sure what is going on with Kyle Hutton, would be nice to see him get another few games or at least get on the bench!

If he keeps these perfomances up we should be trying to get a package put together behind the scenes for him to stay.

I think he would stay, in a heart beat.

Money might be an issue.

I think he would happily take a wage drop but I'm unsure if he'd drop from 70 grand a week (at a guess) to around 18 or 19 in the long term. That's my worry.
