Muff 245
Could be his last season in European competitions (for a bit), unless Schalke get their finger out. Still only 33 (34 in summer).
Dado'sMulls 2,785
Was the best striker in the world on his day IMO.Shame he went totally downhill!
Guest SandyWATP
People seem to remember the old, slow, washed-up striker. He used to be a brilliant player.
Muff 245
Still is pretty handy. Never been blessed with pace, still has the touch, intelligence and movement, along with the goalscoring instinct and composure.
simplythebest 11,453
Seemed to have a bit too much power at Real Madrid in the latter stages. But clearly he's still got something!
hooooootchy 405
One of my favourite ever players , and one of the greatest strikers ever to play the game . European all time top scorer . Spains all time top scorer ( i think hes still level with villa) and real madrids all time top scorer . 3 incredible stats . Did go downhill a bit in his last couple of years at Real . but an absolute legend
Goianegra 4,710
The man isn't human. He has like a 6th sense. Unreal footballers, one of my favourites of all time outwith Rangers.

JamieD 20,012
My dislike for Real Madrid has always prevented me from feeling much fondness for Raul, even though he represented all that could potentially be good about the club (of which there isn't much) and very little of the bad (of which there is a great deal). I've always had a tremendous amount of respect for him though. A fantastic player.Just hope Super Pippo gets fit again and beats the record.

Ryan_1 1,136
Terrific player! He's in a unique brand of strikers that to me are what I compare new up and coming strikers to when their making way in the game. These strikers are what I consider the best strikers I've seen in my 18 years so far.Raul, Ronaldo, Henry, Inzaghi, Batistuta, Elber, Kluivert, Van Nistelrooy and Shevchenko are the players in that list. Amac9 2,060
Up there with Inzaghi, Van Nistelrooy and Crespo as the best poachers I have seen.

Muff 245
Raul actually on 71 goals, but 1 came in the Intercontinental Cup, which isn't included.69 Champions League goals, 1 Super Cup.
Irwin Sparkes 97
I never viewed Raul as one of the best, not sure why, possibly because he never had a good international tournament despite playing in at least
Amac9 2,060
If only Raul had achieved this while still at Real Madrid.
