InnerwickBlue 16
Nick Diaz and Jeff Lacy have signed to have a boxing match after the summer.Should be an interesting one. 5 years ago I wouldn't have given Diaz a chance but Lacy is definitely a shadow of his former self so Diaz has a chance.http://www.boxingscene.com/nick-diaz-vs-jeff-lacy-contract-signed-fall-showdown--38892
the goal machine 7,801
I actually think Diaz will win. Lacy is getting beat by journeymen and has lost all confidence while Diaz is in his prime, trains regularly with Andre Ward and will be more determined. the goal machine 7,801
Lesnar has diverticulitis again, Carwin's replaced him at 131 to fight JDS.
Polo 1,433
Lesnar has diverticulitis again, Carwin's replaced him at 131 to fight JDS.Really? Fuck sake Carwin v JDS will proper be a better fight though.
the goal machine 7,801
Really? Fuck sake Carwin v JDS will proper be a better fight though.Yeah its less serious this time though but he's had to pull out of the fight.I think it suits JDS more. Carwin probably won't go for the takedown and Dos Santos' striking is superior.
InnerwickBlue 16
Edgar v Maynard 3 at UFC 130 is off as well. Both of them injured. 4 matches changed at UFC 131 due to injuries. The amount of training injuries in MMA is absolutely insane.

J-Maestro 11,081
Diaz wouldn't beat Koscheck, Fitch or Penn.He has no chance against GSP.
Polo 1,433
Diaz wouldn't beat Koscheck, Fitch or Penn.He has no chance against GSP.Awww come on! He has a puncher's chance!Surely GSP wouldn't want to stand and trade with him? And 25 mins of lay and pray would surely give rise to a reasonable sub attempt or two from Diaz - who's got better BJJ. InnerwickBlue 16
Predictions for Saturday night?I think Mir and Jackson will get the wins.
Polo 1,433
It depends which Mir shows up imo. Big Country will knock him out if he's not well prepared. Rampage win as well I reckon! Can't see The Hammer playing a safe wrestling game a la Rashad.

Polo 1,433
Rampage, Nelson, Alves, Struve, Stann. When I had a look yesterday, odds were around 6-1 for an Alves, Stann, Struve treble. Tempting.

Stann-Santiago is the only worry really but Santiago's chin is poor and Stann has a lot of power so might take that bet

Tam3r0wn 12
Just repaired my PC, not updated news in a while. Good effort keeping it going.Saturdays picks - Rampage, Nelson, Browne, Story, Johnson, Stann, Boetsch, Tibau, McDonald and Escovedo. Not too many relevant fights, but looking at the main card it should be exciting. All these guys like to throw hands and finish fights.

InnerwickBlue 16
Weigh-ins from last night for the 2 main fights. Rampage has one of the best stare-down faces in the history of combat sport. I keep trying to find his entrance for his fight against Dan Henderson in 2007 but I can't see it on youtube anywhere. His face when he made his entrance made him look like a proper psycho. He's a scary, scary man.
