Bayern Munich v Borussia Dortmund

The big one this weekend.

Borussia Dortmund sit 10 points clear of 2nd placed Bayer Leverkusen and 13 ahead of 3rd placed Bayern Munich.

Van Gaal has a full squad to chose from whilst Roman Weidenfeller is struggling for Dortmund.

Should be a cracking game.

Looking forward to it. A Bayern win could give them momentum to help make this Bundesliga season less of a formality than it already seems.

On a side note, 5 weeks tomorrow I'm going to see Dortmund at the Westfalenstadion, can't wait! :D

How do you go about arranging something like this mate? Always wanted to travel and watch teams.

(tu)

So i did read it wrong  should still be a good game ,plenty of goals going by both defences

Two teams that are struggling. Both should be doing a alot better with the players and squad they have!

Gladbach are going down IMO. A few players available in the summer; de Camagro, Juan Arango, Havard Nordtveit, Filip Daems, Dante, Karim Matmour, Martin Stranzl... yes please!

Hopefully Dortmund wins. They've been class away from home but the Allianz is always a hard place to get a result.

Munich are out of the title race now, anyway, imo. There's no way they'll make up that much ground on Dortmund even if they win tomorrow.

I was over in Munich in January and managed to take in the Bayern - Kaiserslautern game. There were four of us and we got tickets outside the ground, no problem. We paid about 45 euros each for tickets that had a face value of 40 so it wasn't too bad at all.

I'd imagine Germany would be a good bet anyway, seeing as just about every stadium in the Bundesliga is huge. Plus the standard of football is excellent. I'd thoroughly recommend it mate.

One of my best mates is from the Ruhr area, so I'm gonna for for a long weekend there to visit :)

Though if you're wanting a package then apparently http://fourfourtwo.com/travel/ does some great deals.

Think it's Hannover, so should be a good game. He says we'll be in the Sudtribune too- apparently that stand alone is bigger than Bayer Leverkusen's entire stadium!

I was at Dortmund vs St Pauli at the weekend there and also the Leverkusen vs Stuttgart game.

I was in the Westribune for the Dortmund game, the Sudtribune is amazing, I think its 24,500 standing, brilliant when they all join in.

Leverkusen had 28,000 at it but it wasnt a sell out.

Would recommend it to anyone as getting beers before during and after the game is excellent

Lucky, lucky, lucky boy.

Probably my biggest dream outside going to an Old Firm game I have. I followed Dortmund's results ever since we played them for some reason and then during the 2006 World Cup I feel in love with that stadium. That stand

I know, I can't wait!

It's actually pretty cheap; well under £100 for the air fare and match tickets (tu)

Yeah I know it's not that cheap, it's just the fact none of my friends are as keen on Dortmund as me. They are more into Munich and the Allianz-Arena.
