Allan McGregor - Didn't have much to do, made a great save in the first half. 7

Steven Whittaker - Solid. 7

Madjid Bougherra - Had a good game. 7

Kyle Bartley - Had a good understanding with Bougherra, even tried to get forward a few times. 7

Sasa Papac - Solid, now scored 6 goals for Rangers, 4 of them against St Johnstone. 7

Vladimir Weiss - Was given a start on the right, sadly picked up a knock early on :(. 3

Steven Davis - Skipper for the day, looked like the Steven Davis we all know. 8

Maurice Edu - One of his better games. 7

Kyle Lafferty - Missed a glut of chances, but got on the scoresheet just before half-time. 6

David Healy - Was quite quiet, linked up well though. Didn't have a sniff at goal which I can remember. 6

Nikica Jelavic - Took his first goal superbly, set up Papac and I haven't seen his second goal yet. 9

Gregg Wylde - Came on for Weiss early on, played right wing, did well but looked better when he switched to the left later on. 7

John Fleck - Looked good up next to Jelavic, should of had a penalty. 4

Ricky Foster - Wasn't on for long, remember one bit of play made good space but before he could cross the ball in he was barged over the advertising boards. 3

Can't fault the back 5; McGregor made a couple of saves, the defence pushed higher up the park, comfortable and composed on the ball, caught St. Johnstone offside on a number of occasions and didn't really allow them to create. Thought Whittaker had a better game than in recent weeks.

Davis had a very good game, Wylde done well, Edu doesn't do it for me. Lafferty runs about a lot, but is a very limited footballer - at least he scored for once, Jelavic was on fire and Healy tried hard - some good runs and link-up play. More positives than negatives in the Jelavic and Jelavic partnership.

Fleck showed some nice touches and his movement was good.

Certainly weren't at our best, but strolled through it for the majority, should have had a penalty, created and missed a number of chances. On another day it could have been 6, 7 or 8...

Edu was rank - complete and utter waste of a jersey at the moment - looks like "an American playing at football" - so completely disagree with a 7 ranking!!!

You get some good Americans; Jones, Holden, Dempsey, Bradley...

I agree that Edu was pretty poor yesterday. Not his worst game, but he doesn't offer much and looks awkward on the ball. We can all run about, counts for nothing. His passing and first touch is appalling.
