Better balance

The team had better balance and shape about it and you can sense a few players starting to come back into form. All we need is to continue pushing up towards the half way line to help the midfield and we will start to dominate games again. We are still a little stop start and missing the fluency in our game at times but altogether looking better.

We are still a long way off to what is needed. Yes! we did look better balanced in patches and when we played the ball on the deck we actually looked half decent, but to be fair, Saint Johnstone came looking for a point which made us look better than we really were.

Why we lie so deep inviting danger is totally beyond me and why we continually hit balls chest high into our striker/s when we should be sliding the passes in on the deck really does my fuckin napper in.

We will be back to the "Alamo defending" on Wednesday with Davie Weir back in, so unless somebody crocks our captain he'll be back for every game of the season.

As an aside, Walter has either set a decoy by stating that Weir will play in the cup game, or he has just told Lennon our game plan in advance.

We will soon learn whether he is a Fox or a fool!

Agreed, no where near what we expect but as I said improvements in a couple of areas. I would be surprised if we don't play 352 against them.

I think that will be the plan. Choke up their midfield movement and hit on the break with two strikers to keep their fullbacks pinned back defending.
