.....yet every Taig and his granny (players, fans, media lackeys) had been blowing their collective chops all last week how "the treble was a cinch", "that we're unstoppable" and that "Rangers are a spent force" etc, etc and yaddah-ya-ya!

A week may be a long time in politics but the week just passed has turned this season back on its head again. Rangers progress in Europe, we win in the SPL, they lose and the goal differential gets rattled (in our favour).

Let's hope we fuck them out of the Scottish Cup on Wednesday and give them another week of misery.

Spot on this game is coming at a good time to put the cunts down even more, Motherwell proved yesterday there beatable infact they were pish and thats down to McCalls tactics and his players wanted it more. We have to duplicate the same the players owe themselves and the fans a result after the last shambles.

This game on Wednesday could have a major bearing on how the season pans out. Let's hope we don't see another meek surrender from Smith and his team.

I think a lot of questions will be asked of our players on Wednesday. I just hope we get the correct answers.

Celtic were awful yesterday and they will have kayal back for wed which is a boost to them. But we should take a leaf out of Motherwells book, they got stuck into them from the first whistle and didn't let them settle.

If we allow Celtic to play they will score goals, but if we press them high and don't give them a moments peace we have a Great chance!

Mulgrew was fuckin hillarious yesterday so I think he will be dropped and rogne will start, we need to support jelavic!

I know, mate. I just hope that the team set-up offers our players some confidence.

This will have a big bearing on our players mindset of how the game is played.

I believe that if Walter plays a 3-5-2 or something similar, the players will respond and have a go. If however he plays Jelavic up front on his own, I think we are digging our own grave and giving the scum licence to attack us at will.

If Motherwell can do it, so can we...IF we play simple passing football on the deck and cut out the stupid shite of giving the ball away at every turn.

This game could end Celtics season !

Go and attack them, beat them then watch chaos unfold!

Been saying elsewhere that they don't respond well to pressure, as soon as they are pressured they drop points!

2 up front please Walter.

Wasting your time hoping Oz.

With Hooper out Smith will bring back Weir and leave Jelavic isolated up front as he packs the midfield with Edu and Bartley in the middle and Davis wide right despite him running the show on Sunday and getting MotM.

He is not going to change now and yesterday's formation was simply down to Weir recovering from the bug he picked up in Portugal.

Well mate! If you read the article on the STV sports site by a guy named Ronnie Esplin, we're pushing shit up hill without a shovel and we're on a hiding to nothing, no matter what we do.

It's not only the players who have to get it right, the coaching staff have to make sure they're on the ball also and that if plan A doesn't work, there has to be a plan B that can be changed immediately, not just play the same way and hope for the best.

Just as amusing is the reaction from us - a week ago we were all ready to hang ourselves.

Now we're going to win the Quadrangle.

Now that's a highly unlikely scenario in any way you look at it.

I'm not saying it can't be done, but I'd love to see what odds the bookie's would give on that happening? <cr>

Ah the classic old 3-5-2 :craphead:

It has its advantages if played properly. Not as classical as the old 1950's era of the 2-1-2-2-3 mind you...I wonder if Walter has thought of pulling THAT system out of his bag of tricks, because I'd bet Lemmon would be fucked if he knew what was going on. :sherlock:
