thebooler 4,509
With so many players off form at the moment, it got me thinking that maybe it's the combinations and team selections that's the cause of it.Maybe Bouggy is being dragged down to a lower level as he's having to spend a lot of his time covering for Davie Weir?Maybe Papac is being dragged down a level as he has to tuck in tight to cover for Weir as well?Maybe Davis is being dragged down to a lower level as he battles away with players like Whittaker and Edu beside him?Maybe Jelavic is struggling as he's not going to get much service from players like Lafferty and Fleck?Maybe Greegsy is struggling at times, though not very often, as he knows he's got players like Weir, Whittaker, Foster and a struggling Bouggy in front of him?Now I know that not everybody doesn't rate every player the same but I think it's fair to say the ones I've highlighted are not doing too well at the moment, or in Davie Weir's case, past it.This would surely have a knock-on effect throughout the team and this may be the reason we have so many players struggling with their form. What thinks ya all? Govan Front Antz 15
I think it is a combination of Smith not being motivated enough, inept tactics (formations and playing players in wrong positions), poor players, off form players, players to comfortable as they know they wont be dropped and the uncertainty from the boardroom festering itself throughout the club. But how many weeks can we continue to wait before things really go pear shaped?Maybe this is why Walter has also lost all his ambition and motivation? caseyjones 3,009
The players are simply not good enough to get away with anything less than 100%. Frankly, most of them look as if they have never seen a ball before. The simplest of passes, giving or receiving, is beyond them. Then we hear all the nonsense about Bougherra off to Arsenal or Davis to return to the EPL. Add in a manager winding down to retirement, an owner who is in hiding plus a board of toadying bastards, and you have a recipe for disaster. Some people need to grasp reality. Therefore, i suggest that Walter steps aside immediately and allows McCoist to take over.I think the announcement of Ally's appointment was meant to be a psychological tatic regarding the squad, to let them know that they are being watched by the incoming manager and that if they wanted to be playing for the Rangers in the future, they better buck up their ideas. But, i think it hasn't been successful.

Would you be motivated tae try harder, or would ye no get pissed aff when it bacame a regular occurence? As for Murray, in my eye(s) he's a waste of space. But hey, he won us 9 IAR and this should never be forgotten.FFS 15 years ago a wiz playin bools for Scotland and at the top o ma game - now am shite. The past should be in the past and what he did (or didn't do for the Rangers) makes no difference now as it's the future that matters, and nothing else. We don't need a guy who's main concerns are how he can protect his other businesses from the bad publicity that the big bad Rangers FC bring him. Don't like our club or what it stands for - don't try tae change it. Jist fuck off and leave us tae get oan wae things in the proper manner.PS Can ye tell av jist had a cunt o a night shift?
