laudrupforever 17
Smith on NaismithProbably suggests we're unlikely to see him tonight..?Knowing Smith, I'd argue the latter. We'll end up seeing him in both games, ineffective and shattered.
ibroxgers25 18
1-0 Rangers in normal time i agree with that i dont want extra time nor pens with the cup final on sunday
Muff 245
If Steven Naismith doesn't feature tonight then he should not be starting against the bheggars on Sunday!
Blueshoff 11,750
If Steven Naismith doesn't feature tonight then he should not be starting against the bheggars on Sunday!Agree - don't want him going into Cup Final without having a run out in a competitive game. Orangeclement 570
I would expect Naismith will get the last 20 minutes if the result is in the balance but agree if he doesn't play any minutes tonight then he shouldn't play on Sunday due to lack of match practice

disgruntled_bear 157
I think were going to get pumped with that team out tonight, don't know what Walter is thinking.
blueben_d 40
Delighted to see wylde getting a chance from the start, other than that its as expected apart from Diouf/lafferty
Muff 245
I think were going to get pumped with that team out tonight, don't know what Walter is thinking.Keep it tight, try not to concede then bring on Diouf, Weiss or Naismith - possibly keep for extra-time?Weiss better start on Sunday! laudrupforever 17
Would have moved Whitty into centre, dropped Edu and played Weiss out right.
Muff 245
Wouldn't have Steven Whittaker anywhere near midfield.
skinnymate1690 620
As I expected apart from wylde replacing diouf , weiss should be in the team though imo

ForestDillinger 9
RANGERS and PSV Eindhoven supporters will be asked to stand and observe a minute's silence before tonight's Europa League game as a show of support for Japan.Official Website.Let's show the rest of Europe how to actually do this properly.Don't know what to think about the line-up really. Walter with one eye on Sunday perhaps.
Rangers Loyal 0
Walter what are you thinking..Diouf, Weiss, McGregor and Naismith not in the team? Why the fuck even bother turning up. We deserve better.
AndBoydScores 8
Lafferty can't hold the ball up nearly as well as Diouf so that means Whittaker and Wylde have one hell of a job tonight.
Rangers Loyal 0
Are the teams normally announced nearly 3 hours before K.O.? Is this defo the starting XI?
bluenose_72 198
Looking forward to seeing Wylde get his chance. If/when things aren't going right, at least we have good options on the bench.
Gillete 1,338
I'm actually not too bothered about that line upGood to see wylde getting a start and glad diouf isn't playing up front as he isn't a striker
FernandoR20 2,133
What a fucking shite line-up, yet again edu who continues to do fuck all week in week out and lafferty whos had about 3 good games in 3 years start while Diouf, Naismith and probably our best player Weiss on the bench. Oh and also 5-4-1. GTF!
Irwin Sparkes 97
McGregor out again? Who's he joining this time?
Orangeclement 570
Thats kinda the team i expected apart from Lafferty upfront , looks good and compact lets hope the midfield are upto the task of supporting tonight rather than smashing long balls at Lafferty and watching it come back .2-1 the Bears
Muff 245
Three things that concern me; Whittaker in midfield, Edu and Lafferty (lone-role) in the team.
Rangers Loyal 0
So sick of this, why are so many attacking players being "rested" when we will no doubt play the same formation against the tims, we show them way too much respect and treat ourselves like the underdogs from the start. Lets have a go or just not bother as it's a joke! We played with 8 defensive players against killie fuck knows how bad walters going to have our line up if we get through tonight and draw a team of real european quality!
