Recommended Posts

out of all preportion...

before when we sung the songs the press didnt give 2 hooks now when we get fined for doing it they cant let us do anything without it being printed..

they would rather make money than save one of the best team in scottish footballs reputation..

that video that was posted on youtube would never have made its way to uefa if the press were not involved

they need to learn to get a grip and stop grassing a team up to uefa when its there own country thats going to suffer in the future..

Get real there are two points to be made here:

1. The press are rags and will sesnsationalise anything to sell paers. Print STORIES as fact, etc.

2. WE DO NEED TO CLEAN UP OUR OWN ACT - DEFINITELY. THEY NEED NO ENCOURAGEMENT FROM US.

We need to worry more about UEFA than the press, who'll print any old sensationalist rubbish to try and stir up a bit of interest in their rags. There'll be domestic penalties from next season as well - and no doubt there will continue to be SFA observers at every game.

There was a meeting of many fans' representatives yesterday at which it was agreed that the sectarian singing which threatens to seriously damage our club must be wiped out, e.g. by drowning out the FTP-type stuff with Rangers anthems like "Rangers Till I Die".

Walter said in the papers the other day - singing sectarian songs will ruin our club

So why hasnt it ruined our club for the previous decades in which that (and worse songs) were sung?

The question is why has it been brought up now and not in the past decade?

The world changes. Plenty of things that were acceptable in the past are no longer tolerated now. The bottom line is: it's happening. And we don't want to be on the receiving end.
