Clemdog Posted April 24, 2011 Posted April 24, 2011 He's not going to walk away now I don't think, but he really needs to make a bid !
ritchieshearercaldow Posted April 24, 2011 Posted April 24, 2011 None of the faces on there look too happy.
rfcfraserrfc Posted April 24, 2011 Posted April 24, 2011 Whyte in - Bain , Greig and the rest of the 'committee' out
SteveJ Posted April 24, 2011 Posted April 24, 2011 He's not going to walk away now I don't think, but he really needs to make a bid !Have you been on holiday? He thought he had done the deal this week, only for Alistair Johnston to tell him he was not convinced. The bid has been made and both Murray and Lloyds are happy with it - the board just need to accept their time is up and nothing will keep them in their seats.
Thermopylae Posted April 24, 2011 Posted April 24, 2011 Kinda glad he didn't have a scarf on ... nothing worse than people trying to buy a club attempting to curry favour with the fans by doing that sort of thing

Unless I've missed Whyte making a bid of course it has just been all talk before Whyte actually makes the bid.

Make the bid.
Rule Britannia GSTQ Posted April 24, 2011 Posted April 24, 2011 I reckon if the bank threaten rangers to do this deal then it may well get done asap, the fact that he will more than likely have to replace the board then it will prob take more than a month. Good to see him at the game today, he could of well given up but he still showing he wants this done!
Chesh Posted April 24, 2011 Posted April 24, 2011 Any bid needs to be made and announced officially made until then I believe no bid has been made no matter the reports.
krissg910 Posted April 24, 2011 Posted April 24, 2011 hes up to conclude the deal. the bank have blown the so called 2nd deal out the water and said its a no starter. deal will be concluded some time this week according to a cpl of news articles i read this morning.cant remember what sites it was on. sorry for no links, maybe some1 else who seen them will post the links.
SteveJ Posted April 24, 2011 Posted April 24, 2011 Yes, but a sensible buyer wants to make the official bid once every party is happy with the verbal bid. As a venture capitalist, he will know fine well what it means to purchase the business with a willing board, rather than having to try and fight his way in.This has everything to do with AJ - he is leading the fans on, much the same way as the fannies over at Celtic Park did, when Fergus McCann wanted to buy the club.

We have a loan, with a term in years to pay back. How can they force us to take this to pay the load up completely sooner rather than later?

You also said a bid had been made, it hasn't.Just admit you were wrong buddy Apologies can be sent via E-Mail, PM or just a reply in this thread

Straight-Edge-Loyal Posted April 24, 2011 Posted April 24, 2011 I was under the impression that even when whyte takes over we have to keep lloyds bank on as we can't pay the the debt of before the original loan deal is up while the bank can change the terms all they want but we have to stick completely to the agreement made I hope this is wrong though.
photographystew Posted April 24, 2011 Posted April 24, 2011 Could have just been to see the match.yup, he is a supporter after all.
