Adebayor kissing the Man City badge in front of the Arsenal fans, less than 2 months after leaving Arsenal, was a sad day for football

A complete arsehole of a man

Emotion of being amongst our fans got the better of him i'd say

Not exactly keen on loan players kissing the badge though

Agreed (tu)

Remember when Rooney kissed the Manchester United badge at Goodison Park? :anguish: what a scumbag.

I can understand leaving the club you supported all your life for bigger and better things, but to kiss their badge at the home of the team you supposdly 'loved'. It's disgusting.

I'm not really keen on players kissing the badges, I'm fine if they were a fan of the club like Naismith, Lafferty etc. With Weiss though, he's a young guy and seem's to really have taken the club to heart and he say's he's a fan now, plus being amongst our fans. I don't have a problem with that.

It is cause it was our badge, what if someone else done it two different badges in 2 years kissing both?

Well Manchester City obviously means a lot to Vladimir Weiss too, he's been at them since he was 15.

Rangers have obviously had a massive influence on Vladimir - that's the only reasons I could give for it.

You could say that about any player though, he has only been here for what 6 months, yeah big part and loves us and all that, but what happens if gets shipped out to stoke next sesaon on loan and kisses their badge. doh

So 3 badge kisses at 3 different teams in 3 years?

You think that'd be ok?

Did I say I think that it would be OK?

It would be a bit daft, but it's not me who's doing it.

I thought you'd be a little happy that Weiss has taken the club straight to his heart.

I never said you did think it would be ok, it was a question hense the question mark.

And great he's taken strongly to the club, but kissing our badge, for me it's not just him as mentioned adebayor amongst hundreds of others!

Like you just said it'd be a bit daft and I'd agree totally it's 100% Stupid.

I'm not sure if Weiss can be compared to Adebayor, because it was obvious the latter just did it to wind up Arsenal fans.

Unless Weiss did it to wind up the Celtic fans, as he was apparently racially abused in the tunnel against them a couple of months ago - I doubt he did it for that reason though.

Can understand why Weiss done it though. As with a lot of players that come to play for the Old Firm it is completely different to what they are used to. You become an idol in most of Scotland and if you are a decent enough you will become loved. That is why the majority of players leave both clubs with a heavy heart.

Adebayors situation is completely different and shouldn't even be compared to Weiss.

Players like Gary Neville, Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Jorg Albertz, Ally McCoist, Alan Shearer... could get away with kissing the badge.

Not people like Kenny Miller, Wayne Rooney, Lucas Neill, Carlos Tevez, Emmanuel Adebayor...
