So we'll know by this evening whats happening.

Interesting what Platini had to say , " Sometimes the club isn't responsible ".

Thats the first time ive heard him speak since it all came out, but going by every paper in this country, The club WAS responsible and we had already been banned for 3 games? and fined heavily?

Rangers have used this as there defence in the past, and won a previous case on the strength of it before the uefa appeal whitewash, and i believe it's our only defence this time if they have recorded audio of us singing "banned " songs.

Hard to be sure though as we have no idea what the case is against us and it hasn't leaked out like previous times (unless i have missed it)

Nominal fine and final warning.

I disagree. I think his statement means that he would prefer bans to fines.

Did UEFA not say about Spurs that they can't punish a club unless it is mentioned in the match report or by the UEFA officer at the game? If so surely we have decent case to get off on a technicality? as it was a month later that FARE brought it up not the ref or UEFA representative.

Pity Platini didnt explain how you punish the fans without punishing the Club.I expect us to get a ban of sorts and I just wish Rangers had the balls to take it all the way to the European Human Rights Courts. In my opinion we are being held responsible for a social problem that needs to be addressed by a Government starting with the apartheid schools.

Yes but UEFA only came out with this after the report from FARE, they initially said there were no negative reports. UEFA are lying bastards. Also, 'Only a written submission has been permitted from Rangers in defence.' is a disgrace to justice.

I read today that we can only submit a written defence only, and not make any direct contribution to the hearing; can anybody confirm whether this is normal procedure for such matters?

I think we are gonna get away with this scot free somehow, maybe a ditty fine, then fair comes into question and should be investigated, if fair can make claims, these must be backed with evidence if im right

ally was just on SSN hammering home the fact it was individual fans that were letting the club diown not the support at large or the club itself. Mentioned the filth and the problems they have, i doubt they will be happy with that... :sherlock:

It's normal. This is a kangaroo court. We'll be found guilty and will have to appeal, that's when the talking begins.

Did he not also mention something about finding out the outcome around 5.30pm?

I think we should pursue this all the way to the CAS if goes against us. UEFA are, along with FIFA, probably the most corrupt sporting body on the planet. If you dont count the IOC.
