Turnberry18 3,204
My fav memory is when Novo socred the penalty in the shoot-outs and thinking about how he had a European final under his belt- anyone who loves the man would feel the same. He is a football man, he reminds me of my elders, they would tell me about Real Madrid/Eintract Frankfurt, the young Cryuff coming to Ibrox, Rangers playing to 147,000 in a final; just good football men. That's Walter Smith: a good football man
Ryan_1 1,136
Without a doubt, CIS Cup Final 2010.Down to 9 men, our backs well and truly against the walls against a plucky St. Mirren side. He took that side by the scruff of the neck and dragged them over line. The way he stood at the edge of the techinical area for the rest of the game and pull, pushed and dragged players about while almost kicking every single ball was inspiring to everyone of his players. He won us that honour that day, along with the many he's won in his career. What a man, part of the bricks!
