Keeper and defenders are terrible, going forward is no problem for them, scored the same amount of goals as Spurs, and more or equal with everyone below 7th place

Massive achievement for them to get this far IMO, can't see them getting out at Old Trafford..Ferguson will demand a professional end to the season as per usual. It isn't impossible though, West Ham did it against the odds..but they had Carlos Tevez and Javier Mascherano..not Brett Ormerod and Neil Eardley..

Was there not a thread going about that their woodwork had been hit more times than any other team in EPL?

there was something like if you count every shot that hit the woodwork as a goal then arsenal would be top and I think blackpool had moved a good few places too

There was a thread on here before the start of the season and pretty much everyone was saying they'd beat Derby for the worst points total record. Most of the media seemed to have a similar opinion.

So going by that they've done brilliantly to get 39 points and still be in with a shout on the last day.

Many reasons why it didn't work out imo.

Their managers a wanker, Charlie Adam isn't as good as he's made out, nowhere near it, and when you have a manager like Hollaway who's only game plan is to build his team around the overrated one its gonna fuck you up eventually.

And Adam dind't help things either when he wanted to leave in January, yet still kisses and beats the badge , and Hollaway didn't help things when he forced him to stay either, piss poor management right there.

I think they have been found out to an extent and have refused to alter their style of play on certain occasions which has cost them.
