Copa America 2011

Recommended Posts

Two excellent games last night.

A nice QF line-up;

Colombia vs Peru

Argentina vs Uruguay

Brazil vs Paraguay

Chile vs Venezuela

Been saying for ages Cesar is very overrated, how many mistakes this season?

The season Inter won the CL he was superb ! then last season and by the sounds of the copa america he has been so so poor.

Nice line up of games there and I should be able to see the rest of the games since I have next week off work.

He had a very good season, although it could be argued he looked better due to to Mourinho's defensive tactics and since they Inter have not been as strong at the back, hence the constant errors.

QF's take place this weekend mate then Semi's are on Tuesday and Wednesday. Should be good. :)

Yeah could be that as well, like him as well but he has been horrible for the last year.

Good stuff, do you know if the final's on the Saturday or the Sunday ?

I'm sure the final is on Sunday 24th. Think this tournament always ends on a Sunday actually.

Pish :( hopefully its a bit of an early kick off so I can watch it or I'll just need to go into work like a zombie the next day.

Havent watched alot, But Paraguay have been the surprise factor for me. Brazil have been total gash, the young guns just cant seem to cut it. Argentina started off slow but have picked up, Uruaguay & Chile look very dangerous.

Been away so missed a lot of this tournament :(

Can someone fill me in on standout players and how the big guns have played?

Brazil and Argentina both started poorly. Was a real lack of goals at the start of the tournament but as it has went on, they have both improved. Chile are doing well as are Uruguay.

As for stand-out players, probably Aguero, A. Pereira, Messi was outstanding against Costa Rica and Neymar is finding his form.

Cheers guys (tu)

Sounds a lot like the World Cup from last year, looking forward to watching Messi vs. Costa Rica and Estigarribia in particular.

Esti tore Alves apart when they played brazil, was scary to watch haha.

Also, Messi
