Guest
As the dust is far from settling following this bill, I think we're at the beginning of a new wave of 'common sense' brigades. We've had the politically correct dictating from positions of power, trying to change the world over the past two decades. Now that we have reached the ultimate extreme, Scotland as a country can now allow common sense to operate in conjunction with political correctness. The SNP have attempted to create a 'one size fits all' piece of legislation, covering everything that can be deemed 'sectarian' or 'offensive' in Scottish football. So as you all know, rather than identifying specific words and phrases, declaring everything that can be perceived as derogatory involving anything to do with football. A huge fishnet to control a 'problem' that they think is the number one priority in a country riddled with alcoholism, drug abuse, obesity, organised crime, etc. The intention is constructive, the method of using a 'one size fits all' piece of legislation is the problem.View the full article
