La Liga & Segunda Division Nearing €4 Billion Debt

Marca reporting La Liga debt nearing € 4 billion (with a B). Over 300 players in the prima and segunda division contesting non-payment.

Fuck not getting paid, plus wonder who the players are pipeb.gif

But...but...all the Spain lovers were telling me the EPL bubble would burst first and that La Liga was fine. :(

tbh when you look at the figures they are not that far apart tbh , the EPL recieve £700m more in revenue than their nearest rival which is the Bundesliga at the moment the English league debt is said to stand at £3.6b with the EPL clubs spending a staggering £1.4b on wages alone.

Neithers bubble is going to burst with the new laws set in place to lower each clubs debts for European entry etc.

The new debt / income rules for European competition which are coming in (next year?) will maybe have an impact, but sadly i doubt it...dont see them banning the really heavy debt ridden superclubs from the champions league.

Did Real Zaragoza not just recently go in to administration.

And it's well known how much debt Barca, Madrid and Valencia are carrying.

The bubble has to burst in order to restore some sanity and equality to football.
