simplythebest 11,453
Europa League means a few Sunday games which I find annoying, although ultimately doesn't make a lot of difference to me, and Celtic being in this as well means we won't be needing to play catch up most of the time. I'm aware it does matter to fans that need to make travel arrangements or aren't always going to be free at the weekend however, so I thought i'd look through the dates and fixtures to see what games in the first half of the season will end up being changed to the Sunday, on the assumption we make the group stages but I won't be looking beyond that!Motherwell (A) 20 August - 21 AugustAberdeen (H) 27 August - 28 AugustCeltic (H) 18 September - on the Sunday anywayHibs (H) 1 October - 2 OctoberHearts (A) 23 October - on the Sunday anywayDundee Utd (H) 5 November - 6 NovemberDunfermline (H) 3 December - Could change to 4 December, games taking place over Wednesday and Thursday. Inverness (H) 17 December - Could change to 18 December, same reason as above. Doesn't seem to be an awful lot of disruption, and having looked all that up we'll probably not end up in the group stages! But thought it may be helpful to some anyway. Jordo 33
Isn't the Europa League played on Tuesdays and Wednesdays aswell ? Obviously when the CL isn't on though.Sunday games would be a pain in the arse anyway, since I play on a Sunday now
