thor 1
malmo are atleast 2-3 levels above this mob. no excuses tonight imomalmo are a far worse team than maribor
Clemdog 39,389
Gutted for Jamie Ness !Really don't know what we can do for him..He's going to be a superb player if he can just shake these injuries off. I'm really not sure what it will take to stop this from happening. Also, are we playing 4-2-3-1? I'd prefer if we were.C'mon Rangers ! Good luck Carlos ! bluepeter 5,627
Ness has an injury according to Real Radio and BBC.That's hardly the point Kev. HE SHOULD BE PLAYING!
djbroxybear 660
malmo are a far worse team than mariborFuckin hell
macavoy 1
Lee mcculloch should be nowhere near the team while fit never mind half fit! Don't care if ness is injured, Davis and edu should be enough! Shocking!
SirWalterSmithLegend 206
Come on! Ally has dropped Ness from the squad and made up a fake injury story just so he can play McCulloch? I KNOW you don't actually believe that! Its not as unbelievable as you are suggesting ffs.
macavoy 1
Before we all slit our wrists, can I remind people that Ness is only just back from yet another long spell out with injury. His career so far has been littered with problems. He played 90 minutes at the weekend there. Ally might not want to risk harming him futher. This is the lad's career we're talking about here. Absolutely no point in rushing him back with game after game when he hasn't EVER been fit enough to get an extended run in the team at any level. But a half fit Lee mcculloch who takes injections just to play rotten is worth throwing in? SirWalterSmithLegend 206
Thought i heard Ally saying he was touch n go for this game as best i thought he would be on the bench No chance, was always going to play.
SirWalterSmithLegend 206
No reason not to, if Ness isn't even on the bench then it would suggest he is injured.Fair enough.
Stu1993 101
I love the boards poster's have now doubled because of a negative change... interesting.
disgruntled_bear 157
McCulloch walking straight back into the team says it all, he'll not be 100%.Fleck, Hutton etc will be wondering what the fuck is going on.
Clemdog 39,389
We did against Malmo so I'd expect something along those lines tonight. For the 20 minutes we played with 11 men, McCulloch and Edu suited that formation alot more.
OrangeBurn 57
I'd Rather have Fleck of Hutton playing than McCulloch right now. There is no viable excuse for McCulloch coming into this game other than "any other player who can play centre mid is injured."
SirWalterSmithLegend 206
Ness has an injury according to Real Radio and BBC.Would rather hear it from the official site, Ally or Jamie himself. Thanks anyway.
Sasa_Papac_No1_Fan 605
people moaning bout formation its still the same way were playin naisy playing off jelavic its 1 up front with either davis or edu playin right wing
Ibrox_Nights 429
Understandable if Ness does have a genuine injury flair up: tremendously worrying if Super regards this as his first choice midfield if Ness could have played tonight. Equally as worrying is Ortiz one again deployed on the left
Chef 436
No chance, was always going to play. You have all the answers eh
macavoy 1
Jamie Ness is injured. As I've said, there is absolutely no point risking a talented youngster who has reccuring injury problems. What is the sense in that?Yeah so why we risking mcculloch?

SirWalterSmithLegend 206
You're suggesting the manager is so intent on playing Lee McCulloch he's deliberate spreading lies. That's quite an accusation. Its not exactly an earth shattering lie, he is dropping a kid to play his pal a more experience player. There will be no Mariborgate investigation. Jordo 33
Poor Jamie if true Thought he would be past these niggling injuries after he had treatment for it during the summer.

nachothelegend 1,932
So we sit back let Maribor come at us, and hit them on the break.Heard Ally say something similar on Real Radio Today.Old habits die hard.
NizzyGers 7
Understandably many people are annoyed with the mcculloch and ddi midfield pairing, as they have a right to be as its been shown it doesn't work. However if Ness is indeed injured then ally has little choice but to go with that, unless he plays youth which, imo, could be an even bigger risk in a game as vital as this. We need to get behind the team tonight. If this team which is similiar to that which played malmo away plays as they did on that night, we should get a result. OrangeBurn 57
IF we try to soak up this team and hit them on the country we wont win this game tonight.
