ChampionsAgain 1,373
Good call, the only change i would make would be to play McKay at LM due to his engine, ball retention and international experience over Wylde, just think that Mackay could come straight in and do a very good job there tbh, my thoughts only of courseARWould be good for Mckay to start but just cant see it happen , think he will come on later in the game

messiah10 58
We play 4 in the middle and one or two of those 4 are Ortiz and/or Wylde we will get raped.Davis and Edu cannot go up against Kayal, Brown, Ledley and Ki. Midfield is their strongest part of the team. disagree mate. brown is crap and ledley isnt much better. Ki and kayal could win the battle in midfield no doubt but then again so could we if we get the ball to wylde and naisy on the wings. edu is close to useless but then again 3 in a row with him in the side so wht does tht say about this apparently great football playin celtic team

SirWalterSmithLegend 206
You mean like they did in the league cup final? Wylde played that day too btw.No, i mean like they did 5 of out of the 7 old firm matches last season.

WATP Why play Bedoya out of position when we have Wylde?I think we will play 5 in Midfield. Naismith,Davis,Edu,McKay,Wylde, That looks like our best Midfield and IMO will run over the top of Celtics Midfield. We win the Midfield battle! we win the game. Td18 3
There is no question that we can beat the Tims. If we drop as deep as we have in a few games this season then we wont.I really hope McKay or Bedoya gets a start and we go with McKay - Davis - Edu as our midfield 3. If we have McCulloch in a 3 with Edu then we will sit deep and let them have all the ball.
Papa Sasac 164
Not sure if McKay is due a start, think it would be a little unfair. He's played 7 minutes or so, and to then throw him into an Old Firm game, and expect him to perform seems a bit much too soon for me. Edu also played very well on Saturday, so doesn't deserve to be dropped.

Helping Jelavic and putting Celtics fullbacks back as much as they can. I think If McCoist plays this midfield? we will boss the game and win. On McKay, we might as well blood him while the season is young. We're top of the league and in a good position, he also is supposedly a box-to-box mid so we will need energy like that in the middle to combat Kayal, Ki, Brown and/or Ledley. At the best of times he doesn't have enough time to control the ball, let alone OF games. The fans will only get on his back straight away, he suits a slow paced game.I agree he played well against DU, but give them something to think about and play McKay. With Edu they know what to expect.

I think we need to start sending a message when teams come to Ibrox that they need to worry about what we do.I like Wylde love his pace but on Sunday his final ball was atrocious and that could be the difference in winning or losing. Quality crosses give Jelavic, Lafferty and Naismith something to attack. Mckay looked quite good in that 7 minutes some nice touches and a bit of composure on the ball. To be honest I haven't seen much of Bedoya ( unknown quantity to us and them)but rather him than Ortiz just now (I think Ortiz needs more time to settle and adjust to SPL).
