ulsgers1 1 Posted November 16, 2011 Share Posted November 16, 2011 Most of Scotland is quite patriotic, not to Britain but to Scotland.The reason this wouldn't work is the opposition to Scotland being part of Britain throughout the country.We are a british club and where we wish/choose to Show this through a verse or two of her Majesties national anthem then the opinions of other clubs bosses/fans means not a jot!Ibrox can play 'god save the queen' prior to a match to show respect to the crown and for our own fans. Not for the small pocket of vermin in the corner. This is a good suggestion and yet another way to break away from the old school party songs. Penny arcade4 men had a dreamBarca songGod save the queenWhy would these 4 songs not benefit the club and help generate a superb atmosphere around match days!! The princes trust, the revenue they would bring in from tourism and in general, they seem like nice people and the Queen does a fantastic job as head of state.
