I hope to god we can get us a good win before the Old Firm to boost the confidence of the players and management. I think Wallace would be better on the left side of midfield rather than Papac.

Ally does not seem to be able to leave Wallace or Papac out when both are fit. Both of them tend to play and I expect the same to happen next week. Also expect Bartley to play.

Hopefully not :(

My team would be:-

McGregor

Broadfoot, Goian or Perry (not Bartley, he's bloody awful), Bocanegra, Wallace

Aluko, Davis, Edu, Wylde

Lafferty, Jelavic

Alas, Ally's team will be:_

McGregor

Whittaker, Goian or Bartley, Bocanegra, Wallace

Aluko, Davis, McCulloch or Bartley, Edu, Papac

Jelavic

Always a tough place to go. We never play well at St Mirren Park.

Yet we have never dropped points there, but we did draw 0-0 in the Cup a few years back.

I expect a turgid 2-1 or a draw.

I still don't know the key to playing well there, the pitch is that small and narrow it's hard to know.

McGregor

McMillan Goian Bocanegra Wallace

Aluko Davis McCulloch Wylde

Jelavic Lafferty

I'd opt for as much width as possible, two attacking fullbacks and two upfront. No doubt we'll see some shoehorning.

Edu Bendiksen Davis

3 points is vital but we really need a good performance to boost our confidence ahead of the Old Firm game. Would rather have McMillan in for Broadfoot but doubt it would happen. Aluko's pace should hopefully cause them problems and help us create more along with the drive of Bendiksen to push us forward.
