Broxi 12,205
Sky Sports understands Norwich City have rejected an approach from Rangers for captain Grant Holt. The 30 year old striker has been in fantastic for Norwich since joining from Shrewsbury Town in 2009.He has gone on to help the Canaries to consecutive promotions and he is now finding the net regularly in the Premier League.Holt has seven goals to his name this season and his form hasn't gone unnoticed.Indeed Sky Sports understands that Ally McCoist is a huge fan of the former Nottingham Forest man and is looking to take him to Ibrox. And Rangers are understood to have made contact with Norwich - although the East Anglian outfit rebuffed this making it clear they would not entertain selling. However, Rangers remain keen and seem certain to return with a firm offer before the window closes at the end of the monthWould be a great signing if we could pull it off! simplythebestest 2,150
I know he's been on great form but I don't think we need 30 year old strikers.

GrangemouthRSC 832
Can't see him leaving EPL for us tbh.Been pretty decent for Norwich this season.Would think he would set us back a few million though.
El Buffalo 120
Surely we can't afford him unless jelavic was sold?

The Godfather 75,765
He's 30 years old and would costs plenty ona fee and wages. Why don't we try our luck with Sahili? This one's a non starter for me, it's not like he's not getting a game in the EPL.
GaryMc 2,409
He's a cracking big player but I don't see it happening.Financially I don't think we could afford it. He is also a legend down there so they won't want him to leave and he also loves it down there.I highly doubt this will ever be a goer. Wouldn't mind it though because I think he'd do us a turn. Gillete 1,338
Nice , would be a good foil for a pacy striker if jelavic is sold

rangersross 6,724
Pleasantly surprised that we're making such an audacious bid. I doubt we'll get him, but at least it shows ambition.
G.E.C. 19,594
I'm guessing he's worth at mininum £3m.

rangersross 6,724
Oh how we have fallen An SPL club signing the captain of any Premier League side is, in my opinion, a big deal - given the financial disparity. Not that we'll sign him...

cwoodloyal 34
Highest paid player at Norwich before they went up to the Prem, very good in the air, great finisher, but spends alot of time on the floor getting fouled, him and my cousin have been strike partners the past few seasons in there promotions up the leagues, scored over 100 goals between them. Marco Negri's Beard 1,423
Odd - Captain of Norwich, plays fairly regularly if not starting every week, would cost a few million. Can't really fathom him being overly interested or us thinking he would be overly interested. Don't see it myself
G.E.C. 19,594
61 goals in 112 for Norwich. Would take him in a heartbeat!
