The Godfather 71,876
That's what I thoughtI remember this time last year watching as Torres went to Chelsea and Harry was on the radio trying to get Adam in from Blackpool at like ten to 12….mental! It’s been very quiet this year but things seem to pick up on the last few days….let’s hope it’s the same for us.

disgruntled_bear 157
So many Jelavic threads, if only they were a way to merge them all Dan Deacon

rfcfraserrfc 262
If Jelavic scored more than Steven Fletcher down there I'll be amazed.
gers31 246
Well the way things are going if he is off it looks like it will be the morra hope its enough time for a replacement
Dan Deacon 55,169
So many Jelavic threads, if only they were a way to merge them all I know imagine if there was a way we could have all the conjecture in 1 place. that would be great. oh well maybe one day the technology will be available. for now we will just have to make do with 11 threads on the same subject disgruntled_bear
disgruntled_bear 157
Imagine logging onto RM on Wed and not having to speculate about Jelavic? Will be bliss, then the talk will turn to Boyd I am sure.If CSKA Moscow are interested the speculation will go past Wednesday. They'll be able to buy after our window shuts. 4MenHadADream 122
Cba arsed scrolling through all these pages, why are people mentioning Michael Ball. Has someone said we still owe Everton money for him, so we will only get 6p for Jelavic?
The Godfather 71,876
The Michael Ball thing is a bullshit rumour started on Twitter by some taig. We owed Everton 500k if he made a certain amount of appearances which meant he had to pay the club for every appearance he made. We owe nothing on that deal and even if we did it's hardly going to be still outstanding 10 years later....
DietofWorms 2,063
So..it's a swap deal for Darren Mackie and Andy Considine and Michael Ball is singing at their wedding, right?
Dan Deacon 55,169
right if this thread doesnt get bigger than the thread when Jelavic was coming to us I will be disappointed, get posting all sorts of nonsense in here before the deadline
Blue Chief 0
Struggling to believe the Michael Ball story meself, surely can't be true. Says a lot about our financial management if we got millions owed from different clubs going back 10 years that we'd forgotten about. The whole Ball story's come from The Fourth Official on Twitter. What I would say is he is close to Everton and normally accurate. What is interesting tho is a few hours before the Ball story broke, Greg O'Keefe said something had come up during negotiations about how dire Rangers' financial situation was that strengthened Everton's hand. Greg is the Everton correspondent at the Echo...if it comes from him it's the equivalent of coming from Moyes' mouthClock is ticking, something's got to give in next few hours

It is all hear say at the moment noone from either club has even confirmed that there has been a bid. We can all sit here and speculate but the truth is none of know us a thing.
