Madina 3,808
Portsmouth are a unique case in that they got new owners literally 5 times who all fucked off and left them with nothing. Here's hoping Whyte won't do the same to us then

FernandoR20 2,133
Big difference between a two bit mob like Livingston, and the famous Glasgow Rangers, one of the biggest clubs in the world, utterly depressingIm conparing it in the way they have picked themselves up, if they can do it, then we certainly can. will_1974 204
Which in a nutshell means that they will receive a fraction of what they expected to RE any tax bill, yes? If anything at all, whyte holds the floating charge and is the No.1 creditor. He is holding the better cards.
ClintonGrey 365
Player contracts are still to be upheld as secure creditors, the worst that could happen is selling them off with special dispensation or releasing those with a year to go on mutual termination deals. The former is unlikely due to Whyte appointing administrators, the latter is pretty likely. trueblue68 2,497
One of the saddest days of my life. Totally devastated. What happens with the tax case now? Is this going to push us into oblivion

lau03143 84
We must be fucked if the court has appointed the administrator. I honestly believe liquidation of the club will be the outcome here. No amount of money raised in ticket sales is going to solve this one. Cooper230395 2
From recent media report;"HMRC said its representatives were on their way to the court to appoint an administrator on Monday when they found out that Rangers had made their move"It's not all Timmy on the 'inside'
MartinGers93 388
Wish I could give you them, but I've only heard second hand sources saying this.Tbh I don't think there is many or any at all but total respect to the man if he gets us out this mess. Rusty! 1
Hi chaps, I'm from Portsmouth so quite well versed in this admin lark, so anyone has any questions on what to expect from this mess, I might be able to shed light.

Clemdog 39,389
Not entirely, he's one of our major assets. But, it isn't as cut and dry as that. That's true, it's impossible to say I suppose. We have to be left with a team to play with. I'd say that Naismith is probably the player Ally would most likely want to keep on to.Hard to tell whom will go. Can we sign players on new contracts? Like in the Summer, if we are still in Admin, extend Aluko's?

That's always the first thing that goes in these situations. Our first team players will still be hear until the window reopens. StuartM6 279
Charles paterson you wanker.I wish the PFA and everyone else would leave us alone. Stop putting things into the players heads. This is unbearable
Misteral 2,932
It is a sad sad day but we are in a better postion than this morning. The way things were administration was the ONLY option. We have to accept that and hope CW does what is best for the club as he has always stated he would. If the tarriers win the league by 9 points we can at least look them in the eye and ask them how their hollow victory feels.
