The 'big' tax case

when? Does any one know?

This has been going on for weeks now with us waiting for the tribunal's decision.

There would seem absolutely no chance of the Rangers financing any appeal whatever the outcome so why don't HRMC make a statement?

It must make the whole admin process extremely diffuclt and the sale of the club impossible. The instability caused by the uncertainty the case has nearly been as damaging as the ten point deduction.

The instability caused by the uncertainty has been MORE damaging than the ten point deduction.

Supposed to be April some time.

FFS that is unbelievable - even though it is a complex issue all the evidence was gathered and heard in January.

What effect does it have on getting audited accounts out before the end of March? If it's not decided then can Rangers exclude it from the liabilities? Would intersted to know what figure is used if it's included.

ofcourse it has - it's run our club into the fuckin ground.

how long did we go without signing a player before we signed Beattie? Im sure it was well over a year.

When this tax case reared it's ugly head it gradually began to cripple us, it's the reason why murray wanted out, why he couldn't find a buyer and im certain it's the 'main' reason we're currently in administration. (although it would seem that our finances were a big fat mess, but surely it would have been manageable without the HMRC on our backs).

Sooner we get this damn case otu the way the better. If we win, i think my joy at winning the case will be short lived and soon followed up with a great deal of anger that HMRC have crippled us the way they have. I'm sure Harry Redknapp & Mandaric were overjoyed at winnign the verdict vs the scumbags, but once the dust had settled they must have been left feeling very bitter - they should take legal action of their own (if possible) to gain compensation for what HMRC put them through, for the sake of an unpaid 10k tax bill from 2 men who have paid millions in income tax.

All this has only been about the Big Tax case. We had to force HMRC into a deal one way or another. I also thought the people looking into the big tax case were independent so why are they taking so long ? maybe questions should be asked. this is the 3rd and final hearing so there won`t be that much new evidence to go through.
