Murray last night claimed his best and final offer is the one the administrators should embrace.

He said: “We’re determined to try and save the club in its current form.

“We strongly believe there is value to be gained from the financial and football benefits a CVA can deliver that would be immediately lost if the club went into liquidation.

“We are confident in the strength of our bid and the consortium’s unique ability to rapidly return financial stability to the club.

“As a Rangers fan first and foremost, I want to bring a swift end to the current uncertainties that are clouding the club. Our bid can deliver this.”

The Blue Knights’ bid is believed to be worth £10million, and they have an agreement in principle with Ticketus to wipe £17m off the debt they are owed by Rangers.

Sale Sharks owner Brian Kennedy, who saw his bid rejected last week, is also backing Murray and the Blue Knights.

However, the 51-year-old will return to the bidding war next week if preferred bidder status goes to one of the overseas groups.

It’s understood the American offer — worth £25m — was lodged by investors who were part of the consortium put together by Club 9 Sports, who pulled out of the running for Rangers on Tuesday.

Business magnate Bill Ng is the major figure in the Far East consortium but, as yet, little is known about the mystery German-based company.

Duff & Phelps were delighted to secure four bids. Now more detailed discussions are planned with preferred bidder status likely to be confirmed in the next seven days.

Bean counter David Whitehouse hopes that will ensure Gers’ exit from administration BEFORE the end of the season.

He said: “We estimate that an exit from administration before the end of the season is achievable.”

tbk wont win with that bid. imho

ticketus agree to take a massive cut on what there owed have opened they way for admin to rip the contract with them up and stick them in the cva.

i wonder what kennedys first bid was that got rejected so quickly, he must know the winning bid will be about 25mil and if he says he will come back if he believes the wrong ppl get preffered status then 25mil will be the minimum he needs to offer.

i fully expect bk to come back with another bid late next week no matter what happens

Interesting, Still feel Tbk are relying on fan money to help them out. Lets say these other bids which don't want liquidation have an offer of 25-30 million? Whats stopping them selling shares? They already have the money , whereas Tbk don't seem to have it.

nothings stopping them.

the less money that goes to the creditors the more that goes to the club afterwards.

Surrender is nothing to do with it, Its daft to start a new regime at Rangers by borrowing again only an idiot would want that and think that would work out well for our future.
