Unless I am mistaken is the new rules not only going to affect bids that had plans to liquidate the club?

Bill Ng will use our club to bring over players from singapore which could be a good thing, but also a bad thing as look what romanov done with hearts.

No doubt they'll introduce new rules regarding full disclosure of foreign owners (only new ones though, Dermot is fine), their birth certificate, bank accounts, balances, shareholdings, cat's middle name, favourite colour, name of mistress and copies of recent tax returns.

Nothing unreasonable.

ideally all 3 bidders will come out and say their bids still stand despite the proposed changes. The sooner they get in, the better, they can also make out stance clear & get some lawyers on to these 'changes'.

It was said yesterday though that the Singapore bid is a consortium of five people where, if successful, there would be equal shares amongst the members so not one owner in complete control.

The other members are Rangers fans who are based in the UK as well I think so that's added security.

ng and murrays bid will stand, no idea about the american.

So why has a preferential bidder not been named by duff and phelps today.....

Either one of the following:-

1) They were waiting until the found out if all parties were still willing to go ahead with their bids.

2) Another day another dollar!

:)

Perhaps the American has the best bid and has not as yet confirmed he intends to proceed in light of the SPL bombshell.

You forgot the new ruling that any new owners who have any connection to the colour orange, wether it is an item of clothing, decor colouring, the fruit or even just having looked at something orange in the past, will be deemed a sectarian bigot, not fit for purpose and swiftly removed from the job. Rangers will then be docked 67.83% of points accumulated over the previous 17 seasons, made to pay each member club £500,000 (£10M for (i)ra sellic), regardless of which club owner has committed the heinous crime aforementioned. This will go on until the mhanky mob have managed to surpass our titles record via the way they can, through titles most definitely tainted.

Maybe if the other two consortiums would come out with similar statements would in turn force d&p to move their butts and get the ball rolling again as opposed to sitting back and possibly coining it in even more
