Turnberry18 3,204
Laudrup; had we had another signing like him(a combination of his skill and character), and I thought he had that in Jonas Thern, then we would have done better in the CL in my opinion. gaga 16
Mo Johnstone has to be the best signing because of what he represented -- from that day on nobody could call us a team that had institutional secterianism at its heart.Which player were you most excited about signing. For me it was Gazza really felt that was us moving to a different level. As it turned out I reckon he was the best all-round player I've ever seen playing for us

Jelavic191 4,424
My favourite has been Davie Weir, signed for free at the age of 37 or whatever he was and tbh I wasn't expecting much maybe just to see out the end of that PLG season. Inspired transfer by Walter, perfect man to be the Rangers Captain!Although I do remember also that year that I was quite excited by the signing of Sebo. Genuinily thought we were getting a belter of a goalscorer. How wrong was I?
gordo7 147
Laudrup for me. Was talking to my mates one friday night saying that I would love to see Laudrup sign for us, then lo and behold, it was in the papers the next day about him signing. Didn't get better than that for me.
BillyKing1972 0
Gascoigne as not only where we bringing in a World Class player but for entertainment value there wasn't much better!
